Isn't Origin the red Evanescence era? Though Origin was red/black, red/orange sounds interesting.

Also, an Eternal-like instrumental that show the bands true skills would be awesome. I want to see exactly HOW good they all are playing their instruments.

Green era was already during the ABH release for sure, but I'd like to have more green, maybe in the emerald shade, because green is awesome in every way. It could also work well with the red hair - as its complementary color on the dress or background stuff... oh.

rionka Red/violet sounds good to me! That'd be cool-looking! I'd really like it if they made the first track a dramatic intro. I feel like it'd really set off the album.

Harking back to the discussion a few months ago, I think those questioning whether having a 'heavy' album is a good idea actually have a good point (and this is coming from a metalhead). The heavy isn't heavy without the light to compliment it after all and if everything's 'in your face' it ends up that nothing is. Ideally the tracks would compliment each other like that with each piece flowing into the next. So you'd have the music building up and then crashing into a light piano (or harp ballad) for instance and then off again into a load of breakdowns, blast beats and harmonised shredding I definitely agree that there needs to be more experimentation with the instruments too, you can never have too many instruments, just too much at the same time or the wrong combinations. If it feels like it fits the mood of a song, stick it in there! They should play around with the melodies too. One thing I loved about T.O.D. and a few tracks from Fallen/Ev3 is that they had sections where different instruments were playing slightly different things, but in the same key (not an expert on musical theory, but I'm sure this has a name) like the way they play the the piano/guitar section in Imaginary, live. I love the simplicity in a lot of Ev songs, but something I also love about their music is when, rather than all instruments following exactly the same pattern to make it sound louder and heavier, you've got instruments (and Amy's vocals of course) sort of singing to each other and doing their own thing with harmonies etc. I hope this is an experimental album that isn't trying too hard to be an Evanescence record, the Evanescence sound will come naturally, the rest should just be pure unspoilt creativity (:

You have so many ideas for the fourth album! So I have ideas for the 4th album and I hope they will apply it for the said album. Even some of my ideas are impossible to become true. My 4th Evanescence album ideas: 1. As we all know, the band and the label have a tension between them. For the 4th album, the band should change their label company that will guarantee them a freedom to express their emotions and ideas through the songs. A label company that will satisfy their works and not pushing them to claim the Fallen glory through commercialism. For short, independence. 2. Amy's red hair is amazing! I want to see her live with her red hair. 3. We have a good and best lineup ever. They are good songwriters that will touch their fans' emotions and Amy is happy with them. 4. Restore/return those choir for the 4th album. 5. Contradictory to my idea #1, if the band is still under their current label, the label should accept the band's work no matter what. The current label company should ask the band's permission for the singles. If the label decided to put some old songs to the new single from the new 4th album, they should ask the band first if they will agree to put those old songs to the new single from the new album so that it can lessen the tension between the two. (Like the Lost In Paradise Digital Single in which the label put My Immortal in the said single without the band's permission thus creating a tension between them) 6. They should release a Live/DVD album to promote fans to buy the 4th album or the Live/DVD itself. 7. Acoustic versions for all songs of the 4th album! 8. I think red/orange will be a good color because it blends with the feeling of the album. 9. More awards and recognition for the 4th album, songs and for the band itself! 10. I hope Amy will take care of her voice during their world tour to support the 4th album. And that's it! I hope some of those ideas will come true.

Years ago I hoped that I would ever hear a studio version of the "Lost whispers... awaken within me... and fly" in the role of the "next" album intro. Whatever, I would like to have any other intro. Even before the first track...

I think it'd be nice to hear another song about Josh and some more choirs. Oh yeah, let's not forget the harp! I thought Secret Door was brilliant!

^ I'd definitely want choirs to be back too.
Also heavier bass I can't stress this enough. I feel like I can hardly hear it in so many songs.

I also think that the band should do more slower songs. Emotional songs like Hello, Good Enough, and Lost in Paradise. I'll admit, I'm a sucker for slow songs, and Ev's always end up being amazing. I'd also like for them to use more acoustic guitar, since I don't think I hear it that much anymore from them. I think it'd be good since I thought it was great Weight of the World. Another good idea would actually going in an electronic direction like Hi-Lo, but slowly. I want them to keep their unique sound but I know they could make it work. I also wouldn't mind going in a similar direction as TOD, since that album was like no other.

Kazlan Yes. But in the end it's all up to Ev, so it doesn't really matter

Kazlan, @malin doesn't approve of other people having opinions.
