Whoever used the words "bare minimum" hit the nail on the head. I don't understand why this is even happening. This feels like a joke for how impactful Fallen was, especially when the fans know about how much there is in regards to material for Fallen/Pre-Fallen.

Might be a silly question, but what does "Remastered" actually mean? Will the songs sound the same or will there be a difference? I don't think they will do the whole songs again in studio with the current band, no? Don't know what to think of this... I don't have any problems with the sounding (and mixing) of "Fallen", so I really wonder what changes we'll get... It's not a remake. A remaster is to improve the sound. This article may help you understand it: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/RemasterThanks for the quick reply! Hm... "to improve the sound"... since I have nothing to complain about Fallen's sounding, I guess I might not need this. Sad. :/ (The sounding / mixing of The Bitter Truth definitely needs an improvement, though.)

So 4 times My Immortal, 4 times BMTL... For songs she keeps saying she's tired of, we surely get a lot of them. I wasn't expecting much but this is a totally lacklustre release. Half a year delay, no old demos or unheard content, no anniversary merch (yet?), complete media silence. We are not asking for miracles after 20 years in this fandom but some effort would be nice.

I may not speak for everyone here (since we know some fans have no brain cells left to healthily critique their fav band anymore) but... WE ARE SO TIRED OF THEM JUST DOING BARE MINIMUM after having this (and only) consistent job for 15-20 years So 4 times My Immortal, 4 times BMTL... Wow ... calling awesome albums like Synthesis "the bare minimum" is... uff. There are some issues with The Bitter Truth (sounding / mixing), that's true, but "the last 15 to 20 years"?! The Open Door?! Selftitled (that one too does have a few mixing issues I must confess)?! I feel your post is quite insulting... :/ --- Anyways... only a remastered Fallen album is indeed a bit low. I was hoping for new sounds, even remakes of songs we already know with the current band and a kind of "live studio" concept... Bring Me To Life, Farther Away, Imaginary are crying for this!

Do you not know how to read or synthesize information or what? I literally said they are doing the bare minimum with this remaster edition yet you assumed I talked about their entire career. What? Lol I may not speak for everyone here (since we know some fans have no brain cells left to healthily critique their fav band anymore) but... At least you could be friendlier... ("no brain cells left" is totally friendly, yeah right). But well, there are a lot more constructive posts on this forum. -------------- Back to topic: Given the remastering... will the songs sound any kind of different? Like... somewhat heavier due to new ways of mastering or will there be any significant changes since it is not a remake, but remaster? I really wonder how the songs turn out to be in the end. What do you people think?

Haha apologies! I lashed out because I'm kind of disappointed by how little effort they've made and took them 8 months to release this poorly planned remastered edition. The remaster edition should only improve the sound quality of each track. Nothing special tbh. At least you could be friendlier... ("no brain cells left" is totally friendly, yeah right). What do you people think? Okay, I am sorry, too for misunderstanding your first post. I think Fallen does sound perfect the way it does, don't feel the need to improve anything. :/ Maybe there's more to come, although I don't think there is. I am still hoping for a "live studio" arrangement of "Farther Away" and "Imaginary" with the current band... I would really love that.

I keep trying to be kinda optimistically excited because I'm glad I have a good quality of the BMTL demo (even though they unnecessarily chopped the first chorus in half?) but I still can't believe this is really the Fallen celebration. The album that sold 16 million copies worldwide and launched a band into global arena tours. The album that put this little band from Little Rock, Arkansas on the map and made them a household name, all while being funded by an indie label. I know we haven't gotten a full announcement, but I don't think even a 2-disc physical release and DVD would get me excited at this point. There seems to be no thought into anything cohesive visually with this, let alone really the content. Do I really need to pay full price for an album I've purchased many times in my life for a couple of upped quality tracks that I've had for as long as I've had Fallen? I still just don't get this at all. Do what you, what you want I guess, but this feels a little insulting as a fan.

Does anyone know if it will be on CD? Or at least how much it will be lol
Gotta say, I'm a little disappointed - I guess I was hoping for a little more, but I guess it's better than nothing. At least Breathe No More, Farther Away and Missing have a home together on a single release finally.

Well, those B-sides are from that album, so it makes sense to include them. They were already on a single release on the compilation album Lost Whispers. What bugs me is that there are 4 versions of MI, a song that Amy said multiple times that she doesn't like it.

Of course I spent big money because I'm a collector and like shiny things... D'oh!
I'm a little confused on why Amy digitized all of her stuff only to release a cassette... Maybe to charge 80 bucks for a cassette player, but it's annoying that the good stuff with the release is inaccessible and behind a hefty price tag. I can't complain about the lack of content anymore with the pricey bundled packages, but I still feel like the regular real fans who can't afford to shell out a few hundred dollars right now are getting the short end of the stick, and I do feel bad.
