Hey guys,
So next month Fallen will turn 20. Amy hinted at something we don't expect to celebrate its 20th anniversary. I see perhaps a special release with unreleased demos from that era, given Amy had been restoring old tapes since 2020. But yeah I'm keeping my hopes up. Linkin Park is about to release a 20th anniversary of their Meteora album with unreleased material on it, so maybe Ev will release something along the lines with it.
What do you think?

Expectations are premeditated resentments. Whatever it is that they give us, I'm sure I'll like it.  Some cool hopes I have are: 1. Acoustic album of Fallen songs 2. Album of Fallen instrumentals and a cappella tracks 3. Live setlist for tour with Muse is heavily Fallen-centric |

I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently. The Linkin Park 20th anniversary box set looks incredible! So much content and cool stuff. I very much doubt we will get that level of new stuff but I’m hopeful we will get something interesting.
Amy said she has a cool idea and wants to do something that people won’t expect. I don’t think there will be a one off show with Fallen back to front. I’m kinda hoping to get a re-release with some live contents and remixes? Is that too predictable? Maybe some unreleased demos but im pretty sure everything from that time is out already. I could be wrong though.
Definitely excited for next month though! How has it been 20years since I picked up that CD!!!! I still listen to it a lot as well.

Here in Brazil, in the city of Fortaleza/Ce, where the band has already performed at a local festival. We'll have a little party celebrating Fallen's 20th anniversary, with 2 acts from the cover band, the first with the band playing all the ages songs and the second with Fallen complete backwards.  ![]() Attachments:

I think that the Fallen palette was the surprise Amy was talking about. An acoustic Fallen-centered concert would be pretty cool though! For the World Evanescence Day I'm thinking of making some graphics for the Fallen celebration, I will totally listen to the album, and I have some Ev inspired paintings i want to spam on the internet. Basically what i always do for the World Evanescence Day!I also plan to watch what people on Twitter made for #20YearsOfFallen, such a nice party for a socially awkward.  Evanmidia that's so cool! |

So that's it? Amy made us excited about a palette? It's March 4th and there is no official announcement. Her publicists are the worse.
Or maybe I had my hopes up and expected a special 20th anniversary edition of the album with unreleased demos (we know there's more than those that leaked) and stuff in the likes of Linkin Park's special editions of their albums?

Looks like Fallen is being remastered with bonus material. My guess is it will be released in fall/autumn.
What I don't understand is why didn't they have this ready for release for today since it's been 20 years?

I believe we already have everything on that era. New recordings of the songs to fit Amy's current voice would be cool. |

Finally some good news! A remastered special edition with bonus material will be released later this year.
I hope it's not just the B-sides we now... but I hope there will be unreleased/unleaked demos. Remember Amy was digitalising her old tapes in late 2020? So I feel we're getting it.
I thought it would be released yesterday, but I think it will be a physical release, so they're still pressing vinyl/printing stuff and whatnot.

I wonder if the remaster will be in Dolby Atmos, or also a new stereo Hi-res version? Could definitely see having a listening learning curve since everyone is so used to the current master, which is still pretty good (the bass frequencies could use some 2023 love). If I recall, it was already remastered once right before the vinyl release as well, and that was praised?
