What would you rename it to? I'm still working on my answer, but I like the rumored title Rebirth. It fits with the album name theme. Fallen--The Open Door--Rebirth.

I was thinking it might be called "Unchained" before they revealed it to be self-titled, so if anything I'd rename it that

I think ''The Dying Light'' would've fit well. It shows change and that she acknowledges who things used to be.

How about Oceans? Would be the first album with the album name also a song in the album. Would fit with the whole water theme all over the album.
(Origin don't count since it was an intro)

Paradise. It's what the album is titled in my iTunes and MP3 player (along with an alternate cover).

Hahaha.... "The Recrudescence of Evanescence." Don't look at me like that. It even rhymes.

I actually really like Paradise. It follows the unintentional, now broken "second song rule" (album title of an album found in the second song of the previous album) and it still ties to itself with "Lost in Paradise"

Effervesence haha
I don't really know since the band all felt like it was a collaborative effort this time so I feel like Evanescence really fits

I agree with whoever said Oceans. That would have been a good title. But, honestly, not to sound like an ass, but most of you came up with the lamest titles ever that you know Amy would never be down for. Jeesh. Try to be a little more creative and less dramatic 13-year-old, people. Just saying. I cringed reading through that list.

Not only that, "Origin" wasn't an album. frozenflames: What are you talking about? Second song rule with the album title in the second song?

I honestly think Amy probably would have named it Swimming Home.

Like in "Fallen", the second song is BMTL and the album title "The Open Door" is in it. "How can you see into my eyes like open doors..." Atleast that's what I think it means.

I personally don't like the idea of Oceans because I, and I'm probably the only one who feels like this *sighs*, thought that the whole "oceans" theme felt really contrived and forced. I STILL wince inside whenever I hear the line "oceans between us" line in Sick. It's just so.... Urgh. But I agree with some of you guys, Swimming Home would be better as a title instead of Oceans.

I honestly think Amy probably would have named it Swimming Home. Ever since the official tracklist was revealed, I always thought this would have been the perfect title. Not only does it fit the "oceans" and "freedom" theme, it also metaphorical about how they've gone back to the true Evanescence sound with the entire band working on the record.
