Hi everyone!! i am New! and i have a situation here. First of all, sorry if my english is not clear, its because i'm argentinian and i never speak english ha. I write here and i think this is the place. I bought origin in a page from Argentina, (its called MercadoLibre, something like ebay or amazon but in a Latin American scale) It was at year 2012. And yes, obviously is fake, is a bootleg. it has the 11 tracks and the hidden blooper of anywhere. The cd hasn't a code or number but the word evanescence on it. The cd is very right, i mean, the tracks are merged like the original and it could be a copy from th eoriginal, i dont know. Now,the art concept is poor, because is satured in red and low quality. Right now with the quarentine (I hope this is good spelled) came the idea to look on the web for the scans in high quality and printed for it, with the good paper and all, but searching around the pages i didnt find images of the scans in good quality. Except the ones from the EvanescenceReference, that are so good!!! But when i was to save it, i found they have watermarks for avoid boottlegs. And i contact two members but i don´t have an answer. So i asked, is possible if I can find the good quality scan of the concept art from origin with no watermarks? If this material was free-release by the band, can we get the art too? it still being free after the Ultimate Collection by Bycicle Music Company release? Thanks if someone take the time for read, and the patience if i have errors haha, its not easy explain an idea in another language if you're not practice it. I'll be honest, I had to look at the Evanescence Reference photos pretty hard to even notice the watermark. I think that may be as good as you'll get, unless you get a separate bootleg with higher quality artwork.

dender29 No problem.  Interesting how the red art in this bootleg looks messed up but the lyrics inside look good. I don't think I've ever seen a bootleg with such an oversaturated red before. Normally the ones with artwork issues are kind of orangey. Even though it's annoying that getting fakes is most common, it's interesting to see the differences among them. As long as your sound quality is good, that's what matters most.

Just relistening to this album as a little listening party before TBT, and this album is so much more experimental than I remembered. TBT seems like it's going to be more of a 'sequel' to Origin than Fallen or TOD

Ok, so first of all, since I was here last, I've been able to catch up on some albums I missed, including Origin ("album"). Well, i must say, it's definitely a favorite! But i really like that raw sound. I tend to favor most bands' earliest stuff. That doesn't mean that they haven't gotten better though, just a particular interest of mine. But comparing TBT with Origin sounds awesome! I mean, I really like them both! |

I’m still looking for a copy of Origin....tbh I’m not really bothered if it’s a legit copy but a really decent bootleg with good printed artwork and cd would do me. My Ev cd collection would look good with Origin in there.
