So, I just listened to the new verion on Youtube. This is probably an unpopular opinion but...eh. It's beautiful and all and I'm glad Amy has shown some interest in older material, but I'm not fangirling over it. I knew the general sound from the latest live renditions, so it's not like I was expecting something completely different. I personally prefer the Origin version, even if it is more juvenile.

There is something about the original that is just so damn haunting, and this does it, but not as much as I would like. I do love the vocal runs at teh end though. It is a nice version, don't get me wrong, but it's just alright. |

I don't think I set myself up for anything. I didn't expect a whole new reimagining of the song, as Amy has made it clear that material makes her cringe. This sounds like an acoustic from TOD era. I never said I didn't like it, it was just meh. If it gave you chills, that's great. It didn't, but I can still appreciate it. |

in the middle of the song when Amy hits those higher notes, I hear distortion on my Sennheiser True Wireless headphones, is that part of the song?, because when listening to the song on other headphones I don't hear the distortion.
