I don't think anybody got in trouble for helping leak the Fallen demos, so how are the The Open Door demos any different?

Because the demos that were leaked from Fallen were not under a label at the time of their leakage. Plus, there are multiple demos from Fallen. Multiple versions that we don't even have. Please refrain from asking for the illegal sharing of copyrighted material, per one of our rules.

The songs seem to be the same except Together Again has the extended intro, and they all sound very high in quality as compared to what I've heard previously. You can here the backing vocals much clearer in IYDM and there is much more bass. I am 99% sure that the vocals are the same, they dont seem to be demos. I will share them on youtube when the time is right. Just thought Id put it out there for everyone that there is hope of hearing them still.  EDIT: They are rips from the "Promo CD" from ebay. it included the 3 songs I have, with 4 instrumental demos which I do not have. |

If you upload crap, it will be still the same crap but I think if you upload something that exceeds the abilities of the format they use, some frequencies will be clipped and, even though it will be good quality, it won't be as good as the original. I'm struggling to explain this in English, sorry. You'll understand what I mean if you open an mp3 file and a flac file in waveform (but you probably already know that). |
