Yeah... But as promised, we did get some of those songs on Ev3... I feel like I know this already, but what songs other than Swimming Home were from those sessions? Was Made of Stone? For some reason I think it was.... *shrug* Perhaps my brain is lying to me. Perhaps not.

You're right and your brain isn't lying to you. Made of Stone, Sick, End of the Dream, Swimming Home and Secret Door. If you look in the Ev3 album credits, it will say: Tracks 2, 8, 9, 12 and 16 written by Evanescence and William B. Hunt ;D

Hm. Gotta be honest, if MoS, Sick, and EotD are among the songs they kept from those sessions, they must not have been a very good group of songs, heh.... Still, my wee Ev fan heard longs for them. I wonder how different those songs would have been...

I wonder how different those songs would have been... Remember Amy said that the Renholder Remix of MOS was more like the electronic demo version? Didn't she say she thought it was better or something? I think the electronic music would have less guitar and more rhythm instruments, like drums, and other sounds. Like those in HDTS.

Am I a bad fan for having never listened to the MoS remix? Heh..... Maybe I did... I just have no recollection of it. Yeah, I've gotten a pretty good picture of the general direction from SH and Amy's solo work, but I can't imagine EotD in that particular style... It makes me very curious about that song's origins.

Personally, the Stompin Steve song was the one song from that session that i was (and still am) the most excited about. I didn't really care much about MOS's remix to be honest. I liked it, but it didn't killme at all, just like the rock version of the song doesn't kill me either.
Also, that other song Amy and the guys shared on twitter, the video was something like "2:32 AM" or something like that, the song was totally unfinished, but it sounded like it could have been interesting once finished. Also that other video with the piano piece. It sounded nice.
Hope we get to listen to those songs one day.

Popular opinion seems to say that that song is the Lillywhite version of Made of Stone? *shrug* Even though Amy said that she was just muttering sounds, people on YouTube think she's saying again and again "I'll numb the pain . . ." I'm still upset we don't know the name (or even working title name) to the Another Piece of the Puzzle piano piece.

Was the video Amy shared with the Piano piece ever made into a song? I wish I could find that video again. I loved the serene moment she was playing the piano in.

Kinda confusing with two Will Hunts out there.

I just listened to Amy playing the piano piece she uploaded last year, and based on the lyrics I believe that it was an early version of Disappear.
Listen:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VjaC7wdMso
I tweeted Amy asking if we'd ever hear this soft piano version of the song... I'd appreciate it if more of you could help asking her on Twitter about it. I'd love to hear the ethereal and slow version of this song.

Yeah. That's the beginning part of Disappear, well the "wasted pain" part.

And the basis for many an acoustic cover of Disappear, heh. *sigh* I think that's the most popular cover I ever posted.... And most of the comments are just about sheet music and tutorials. Man, f*ck da police.
