I have some questions about EvClub: 1.Is it worth it? 2. What is the Mail-In-Payment? 3. What can you do on it? 4. How long does it take to ship? (I've heard it takes a while) 5. Do you have to renew over time? 6. Does the four year membership really last four years? Please answer! I'm considering joining!

Can't answer them all, but; 1. Not really, i don't use it at all. 3. Not much more than you can do here, there's a forum there, and some other stuff. 5. I think you have to renew every year.

1. Is it worth it?No. You won't find a lot of the things that are advertised on the website. Exclusive videos and songs? I found none. It is possible that there are some, but I never found any and everyone seems to say there is none of that. The package is not very good either. You used to receive an exclusive shirt, but not anymore. Plus, I went to rock in rio this year and even though there was a meet and greet there, there was no contest to enter. 2. What is the Mail-In-Payment?Welcoming letter (computer written), looks more like an advertisement, but the picture is pretty. Keychain and necklace: www.evfanclub.com/splash3. What can you do on it?Forum, chat, exclusive pictures, personalized profile. Maybe other stuff, I never really spent much time on it because I always prefered evthreads as a forum. The one thing I enjoyed was reading Amy's posts there. There were a lot of them, but I think most of them were old and there was not much recent activity. 4. How long does it take to ship? (I've heard it takes a while)It depends, but ususally a loooooong time. Months, some people waited years and then didn't even get what was promised. 5. Do you have to renew over time?Yes. When I joined I paid for an year. I don't know if there are other options. 6. Does the four year membership really last four years?I didn't even know you could do a 4 year membership, but I wouldn't go for it. ... ... ... ... ... In conclusion, I wouldn't join. You will not get much from it and someone out there is just going to get your money. If in the future, the whole thing changes I would consider rejoining but not for now. To anyone reading this, if I was unfair with anything correct me please, cause like I said, I never really spent much time there, even though everyone's opinion seemed to be pretty bad.

Membership always lasts for one year, you have to renew it if you want to stay on. I joined in mid July and my package arrived about a month later.

"Evclub The official fanclub of Evanescence" The necklace is okish I guess, but boring compared to the ones that have been sold on the official merch sites.

lol, thanks to LCLithium i don't feel bad for not having money to join anymore. I've always came across unsatisfied EvClub members, but if that's how EvClub really is, it's a pretty uninsteresting place...

If it's for the 'exclusive' content, I wouldn't join. Quite a lot of it has been leaked. ALL of it has leaked, lol

Probably the biggest benefit for fans is the chance of being picked for a meet and greet - although once this world tour finishes, that wont be much use then.
Pity there isn't much positive feedback - it could have been a great place to visit...

Pre-sale tickets can be bought from LiveNation (just need to register with them - is simple and not time consuming) I've bought my tickets from LiveNation twice for Ev concerts before they became available to the general public

I'm about to join the club, I just need to know one thing: I'm from Brazil, will I pay the fan package shipping?

1.Is it worth it? That depends on what you're looking for. If you want loads of exclusive stuff, then no, because, as people have said before, someone always ends up leaking that stuff. Now, if you're looking for M&Gs, pre-sale tickets and some (rare now that they're on tour) posts by Amy, along with a small, friendly community, then sure. Regarding M&Gs, if you're going to a festival and want the chance to meet the band, EvClub is not the way to go. The band/management has no say in who gets M&Gs for festivals, so the fanclub doesn't get that opportunity, unless it's an Evanescence concert outside a festival. And even then, not all of them have M&Gs. 3. What can you do on it? Each member gets a blog, there's the message boards, and a few downloads for the club only. There used to be a chat room, but sparkart took that down 4. How long does it take to ship? (I've heard it takes a while) Depending on how many people are joining at the same time, it can take up to 8 months, yeah. But usually it ships within one month. 5. Do you have to renew over time? Once every year. 6. Does the four year membership really last four years? I've no idea where you saw that this was possible, but there is no such thing as a four year membership
