Lovely performance!! The only bad thing about this is the fact that Amy's voice cracked when she sang The Change. It was so painful, but still, they all sounded amazing.

That's the beauty of live music. EXACTLY... that moment definitely is one of my fave moments of the performance.

I am in love with these recordings. Especially Lost In Paradise and The Change. *.*

I know we all have different tastes, but i don't think that hearing a singer's voice crack insanely is the real beauty of live performances. I'm cool with singers struggling through certain songs while singing live (and Amy struggles frequently), it's only natural, but the second half of that perfomance of TC is just cringe worthy to me. I can only think "ouch, that has to hurt!". It's difficult to listen to that part with a straight face. Atleast that's my experience. I like that acoustic version, but rarely listen to it because of that second half. You can see the struggle in her face and how she grasps for air. Not my definition of a good performance, especailly considering she's sitting down. it's just unpleasant. The rest of the session goes from decent to really good in terms of Amy's voice in my opinion, but the change is a "no, no".

I'm gonna have to agree with you, Carolexodus. As I mentioned, it is super painful to listen to that recording, especially the second part, because of the cracks in her voice. I always thought that the entire album was recorded in a super high pitch, that Amy can't reach (in most of their live performances) especially The Change. If they had lowered the key, just like they did with MHIB and Never Go Back, (and sometimes with LIP) her voice wasn't gonna crack that much. Please Amy, if you're reading this, don't write songs in a key that will be to high to reach, so you don't sprain your lovely voice! I really love Evanescence so my sugestion is critical and friendly, don't get me wrong...

Is there a download anywhere for the officially recorded version of this show? I'd like to replace the others on my ipod with these. Thanks if you can help Also, on topic - I have to disagree with the last two posts; I find that it added a certain "flavor" to the song. Like she was really feeling it and just let her voice go. She has had some cringe-worthy cracks in the past but my first thought when I heard it the first time was more of how intense she was singing that part. Just my opinion of course.
