I really like these ideas. And if they (or maybe even just Amy) did an electronic version of Phantom, that would be SO EPIC. I've heard rock and symphonic versions of it, but I've never heard an electronic take on the song before. *ponders possibilities* Thank you! I think that that Amy's version would be so much more epic than some of the symphonic versions that are currently out there. I have a wide range of music interests, I am a music cognoscente when it comes to 70's-80's music. I'm torn. On one hand, EVERYBODY'S done a metal/symphonic version of Phantom so if she did it would just feel cliched at this point. So an electronic version would at least be a breath of fresh air. On the other hand...I'm not a fan of the electronic direction. So I don't know what I want :/ I would say that I think Amy would make a kick-ass Elphaba which is why I'd love to see her cover a symphonic metal version of Defying Gravity or No Good Deed.

Tears for Fears: Mad World Seconded! Especially if she did something akin to the Gary Jules version, either way it would be pretty amazing.

I would love to see what she would do with some Stevie Nicks. Rhiannon, Bella Donna, Crystalline maybe. Concrete Blonde would be cool too. I could also see her doing some blues. Solomon Burke, maybe?
I'd love to see her do Sia as well. Imagine Elastic Heart with harp.

Ok, so I was playing Sound of Silence on Piano Tiles and I realized SoS is REALLY HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL on a piano! So naturally....I thought of Ev. Between the piano, Amy's voice, maybe a little harp or the band coming in part way, this could be REALLY FREAKIN' AWESOME

Don't know if I've posted this but...
Sarah Mclachlan: Fallen Dido: Here With Me Lykke Li: No Rest for the Wicked Keane: Somewhere Only We Know
I also think Amy should cover Adele's Hello, those big choruses with long notes is so Amy.

I think I have said this one before but I will say it again, I would love to hear Amy cover "Dark Paradise" by Lana Del Ray, "Seven Devils" by Florence and the Machine, and "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons.

Is it wrong to bump this thread? They performed a cover of "Going to California" at some of the recent concerts, so I think it'd be fun to discuss what else we'd like to hear now! I'd personally love to hear them cover a song by a current pop diva/princess. Britney, Gaga, Beyonce, someone like that. Halestorm covered Bad Romance by Gaga and knocked it outta the park! I'd lovvvvve to hear Amy belting out "Toxic" by Britbrit or "Halo" by Queen Bey. What do yall think?
