She did?^^ Awesome! I really like BFL, i've been watching some recent live performances on youtube and i'm liking the new songs a lot. I thought Amy didn't like BFL or maybe didn't know of their existence. This is really great. I need to check out the press lounge and find that interview ASAP!
Anyway, on the collaborations...Since Amy seems to be a big fan of Portishead and i love Portished myself, i wonder what could Ev do with people like Geoff Barrow, Adrian Utley and Beth Gibbons on board. Especially Geoff Barrow, he would add a bunch of new and innovative elements to Ev.

I think Amy should start talking with Ben and David again and at least put out an EP together or something. It would be cool to see how they would sound together now that they have more experience.

^ I don't think this would ever happen again considering the circumstances around Ben leaving Ev, It would be amazing but it isn't realistic, however Evanescence with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm, I just can't it'd be an amazing duet, they both have really unique styles of singing aswell so it'd be interesting to see if it would come out as good as the "Break In" duet did. I can't really see Ev collaborating with anyone else though, I think because Ev is so unique a collab. might be a bit overkilly if you get my drift. Apocalyptica ft. Amy Lee, however would be interesting.

A supergroup is when people from other bands join to create a supergroup. For example, Matt Tuck from Bullet For My Valentine started a metalcore supergroup, with Liam Corner from Cancer Bats and other people. They're still in their main bands (BFMV, Cancer Bats, etc) but are also part of the supergroup, AxeWound. Do you get it now? there's also a super group with one guy from Led Zeppelin, Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters and lead singer of Queens Of Stone Age.

I thought it was a super group, lol. It kinda is! Amy Lee - Evanescence Terry Balsamo - Cold Tim McCord - The Revolution Smile Will Hunt - Dark New Day Troy McLawhorn - Seether That's a supergroup if I've ever seen one! But yes, an all-girl group would kick all kinds of ass. |

Yeah but they're in Ev aha, so Ev aren't a supergroup. Apart from Troy and Will who are also in Dark New Day, the rest left those bands.

Yep, she said in an interview in Chile, but the video was a crap, I mean, the audio wasn't synchronized, so the uploader deleted it. Shit! That's the interview, actually, but they shortened it. They even talked about what they were listening to that time and Amy said she had just downloaded BFL's last record and she loved it, she also said she kinda hated Lana Del Rey's "Born to Die" (the song, not the album). The video is named "interview 01", so I thought there would a 2nd part, but there isn't. I talked to them on FB and they said that's the ONLY interview they did with the band, but it was the same but way longer (about 3 min, I guess) than "this" one!!! |
