Fallen anniversary eyeshadow palette by Hipdot Cosmetics

Evanescence released a Fallen inspired eyeshadow palette for the Fallen 20th anniversary. The palette was sold out within ONE HOUR 

According to Ev Twitter, it's "vegan, free of harmful ingredients, cruelty-free, and curated to embrace all skin tones". The box seems to be holographic (on the videos) and the color shades are named after the songs on the album. (I'm a bit triggered by the name "Taking Over" but it's my favorite shade!)

I personally just dive into a makeup again after a long time so the idea seems lovely to me (even though they don't ship into my area). But according to the other people there are some issues with the brand and design of their enamel pins which seems to copy another artist.

What are your thoughts? Did you get one? How do you feel about it?

I knew about it before release but alas it doesn't ship to where I live 😭
It's already sold out at the Hipdot website! As a makeup enthusiast (and EV fan, ofc) I REALLY wanted this...

Edit: yeah, the name "Taking Over" triggers me as well..

I think it is a fun concept, but I wouldn't get it myself because I don't really wear a lot of blue makeup.

So in the tweet thread, the Ev Twitter said that if you still want the palette, you can sign up for the restock and they'll make them to order and ship them out in a few months.

I think it's a cute concept. I myself don't wear makeup so it's not for me. Plus I'm extremely warm toned so I don't think the colors would work very well for me lol (an Open Door palette with earthy colors though...)

fishbowl: it's funny because the name triggered me but the color shade itself seems to me the most magical of them all. i have a similar one by revolution cosmetics (periwinkle/violet toned shimmer)  and i love it so much, like, the most of their entire palette lol

LOVE that Trixie used this, and talked about the band. I absolutely adore Drag Race, so this was like watching two worlds collide. Also loved that she talked about going for a goth girl look, and she just ended up looking how she always looks.

It's very pretty and I love the CD design! I ended up deciding not to buy it since I also don't really wear blue eyeshadow. Plus, I've never heard of the brand and I tend to wait until I hear more about makeup brands before buying since I have extremely sensitive skin. The looks I've seen people create with it have been really pretty!
