Even though I’m not attending I’m super excited about this show. Massive line up and great for Evanescence to be apart of it. I keep thinking they will have a fresh setlist with more songs from Fallen to celebrate the Anniversary. Not sure if there will be a live stream but I’m sure videos will surface. Post any pictures if your attending 👍🏻

Schedule and set times: Evanescence will play on Purple stage on 5:15 PM, they don't have too big gap though, it seems even smaller than incubus. I'll wait for pictures though...

Setlist: www.setlist.fm/setlist/evanescence/2023/las-vegas-festival-grounds-las-vegas-nv-3bb984f8.htmlSetlist was quite short, they dropped EOTD and MI :-o but Made of Stone is back! (fanart by GamesOfEv): Set times: Evanescence played on Purple stage on 5:15 PM, they had only 45 minutes (many others had even less). There was 94°F / 34°C.😓 The crowd was HUGE. Evanescence took to the second main stage, the Purple Stage, with lead singer Amy Lee commenting right away how they had a lot of songs to play and not a lot of time. Except for System of a Down at the end of the night, almost every band present had a super short time to crank out what they had (by normal considerations) and in Evanescence’s case it was a lean forty-five minutes to drop in choice cuts like “Made of Stone,” “Going Under,” “Call Me When You’re Sober” and “Use My Voice.” Expectedly, the band ended with their breakthrough hit “Bring Me to Life” but as an added surprise P.O.D. singer Sonny Sandoval joined them to do the rapping parts in the song. music.mxdwn.com/2023/05/14/reviews/sick-new-world-2023-review-system-of-a-down-and-korn-kill-in-a-day-overstuffed-with-top-notch-talent-photos-setlists-more/

Ev made the most out of the little time they had. I wish they would have cut Use My Voice and played My Immortal in place of it. It would have been much more fitting for the crowd (and in my personal opinion, UMV is pure cringe) but it was a great time. I also wonder if they didn't cut MI last minute. They didn't have the normal piano/keyboard inlay, but the keyboards setup for the various parts she does had a bench this time which I was assuming was to do My Immortal? I definitely could have been assuming wrong on that. I'm glad I got to see the appearance from Sonny. That was pretty cool.
I felt bad because Ev went on at 5:15 which was peak heat time and it was a real warm day here in Vegas. You could tell a lot of people were from out of town and not prepared for how real dehydration can be in the desert. Someone at the table I was sitting at in the cooling tent during Lacuna Coil had to be wheeled out and I saw numerous passed out people having to be carried out in a rush. The festival itself really did try to mitigate the heat, but they definitely weren't ready for a 95 degree day in May.
I was hoping Amy might do Freak on a Leash again or make an appearance to do When I'm Gone with Body Count but I also get why she might not have. Both Korn and Body Count put on cool sets too, though. The side stages were having major issues and Body Count didn't end up going on until the time they were supposed to be wrapping up and they didn't seem overly thrilled with how the sound was executed lol. They forced a sound check when the mics and guitars weren't working during their first song.
Overall, it was a good time. Glad I got to check it out!
