The song "Legends Never Die", released for the videogame League of Legends, was officially released in 2017 by the band Against The Current. Recently, snippets of the song in the voice of Amy Lee surfaced online, hinting that the song was supposed to be released by Amy in the first place, but for some reason that plan was scrapped. LOVE this. It's a shame Amy's version wasn't chosen in the end. I had a listen to the Against The Current version, and I definitely prefer Amy's. There seem to be so many soundtracks that Amy or Evanescence were nearly a part of that seemed to fall apart. It makes me wonder how many songs we've missed out on.
