Aww. I sorta enjoyed this being exclusive to the TBT Deluxe Boxset. Felt like a nice little gift to the die-hard fans who still support bigly after all this time. I got to see this on the Synthesis tour and it's nice to get a studio. It's not my favorite cover from the band as I've never connected with The Beatles, but it's a solid track. The art is beautiful and I love the song title font. The thorns remind me of ABH a little bit.

The heartbreaking reason Amy Lee gets emotional when she sings "Across The Universe" whiplash.net/materias/news_723/337987-evanescence.html By Gustavo Maiato - 01/12/22 - Translated by rionkaIn 2021, Evanescence released the cover of the song "Across The Universe", by The Beatles. The single was hugely successful and has already exceeded 700 thousand reproductions on Spotify. But what's the reason why singer Amy Lee gets emotional every time she performs the song, originally released by the Liverpool Quartet on the album "No One's Gonna Change Our World" in 1969? "Singing the song 'Across the Universe' became my favorite part of the night when we were on tour around the time of the 'Synthesis' album. Every word speaks straight to my soul and singing it feels really good. And I feel the presence of those I lost, especially my brother Robby, who was a huge Beatles fan," she explained. "When the lyrics say 'Nothing's gonna change my world', to me, it means that nothing can tear us apart. Ever. Not even death. Because true love is forever. Listening to the recording now brings back that beautiful feeling and makes me very happy." Amy Lee's brother Robby Lee passed away at the age of 24 in January 2018 after a long struggle with severe epilepsy. In a recent interview with Loudersound , Amy Lee explained that her longing for her brother can be found in the lyrics of the album "The Bitter Truth". "Losing someone is not something you can heal. I have to learn to live with this new version of myself. All that feeling is in the album," she explained.
