Just gonna go ahead and say that, for me, this is the best music video Ev have ever released. It's so immersive, visually stunning, and absolutely drenched in metaphors. There's so much to unpick and analyse and it's so cleverly done. Eric's done it again!

Finally got to take a break from work to watch the video. It was fine but felt really, idk, uninspired?.
Parts of it reminded me of Sweet Sacrifice and What You Want.
The visuals were cool but I felt like the video relied heavily on effects to keep you interested instead of telling the story. Like I said, it was fine. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again though.

I'm surprised the only warning for epileptics was in the description and not the video itself.
Any idea why the ratio was changing like that ? seemed pretty random to me

Statistically, only 3% of people with epilepsy are triggered by flashing lights. There’s a massive over-emphasis on perpetrating it’s importance in popular culture because of a few high profile cases from years ago. There are many, many other things that are much more likely to cause seizures.

We have to remember that there are different triggers for seizures in epilepsy. Only 3% of those with epilepsy suffer from photosensitvity. I'm surprised the only warning for epileptics was in the description and not the video itself. Any idea why the ratio was changing like that ? seemed pretty random to me I'm thinking the change in ratio's during the video may possibly be a metaphor of looking at things on the inside from the outside? At least this is what I get from the two times I've watched the video. I haven't really been able to focus on it. I got some bad news about my cat today. |

I think the video is great. The visuals are stunning. The band looks badass. Amy looks absolutely beautiful, and I LOVE the focus on her trademark eyes. (More of this please.) I love the fashion. Covert Amy’s costume is AMAZING. The song itself is so badass. I love the references to the band’s history. The energy from everyone in the band is GREAT. I love Amy’s dramatic movements, and Amy breaking through at the end is so fucking empowering.
This video made me feel excited, triumphant, and touched.
It’s a thumbs up from me.

I LOVE the video. It's super gorgeous to look at. I know some people weren't super crazy about all the strobe lights, but I liked it. I also noticed the aspect ratio changes and I think I'll have to rewatch to determine if there was any real reason for it (I imagine there was). The whole band looks amazing and I appreciate how metaphorical Ev's videos are. I don't usually prefer to have some super obvious storyline in a music video.

You seem to dislike everything they release, all your posts are negative, if you dislike their new stuff so much move on from them? Anyhow, I think the video is awesome, could be better but they have clearly achieved their max output with a limited budget. The falling temples looks kinda cheap and obvious but the cgi at the end and the smashing glass provides en epic finish. This is a very The Chain Part 2 video. I think the chain utilized their budget and visuals better though. Overall this is defo their best era since Fallen, so much passion from her these days. |
