I hope she's not referring to Take Cover as that song feels like it was quite "done" by the time they started playing it live. I'm crossing my fingers for Stompin Steve.

Take Cover was one of the listed songs from “The Bitter Pill sessions.” I imagine it’s been reworked if drums were being tracked.

It also feels done to me, judging by its live version. As far as I'm concerned, they reworked it before playing it live, then they probably reworked again for TBT. I'm also hoping for Perfect Dream (aka Stomping Steve) too, but I don't think it will make it to the album. Take Cover fits in the album's political theme, and Perfect Dream seems to be about "life within dreams" as she said this was one of the inspirations during the creative process of Ev3 Lilywhite sessions. I'd love to hear it in its original incarnation, with that amazing percussion, programming, and synths. Maybe it will see the light of day in a different project.

I mean, I know Take Cover has been reworked and is being included in this album, I'm just hoping that that's not the song she's referring to on this interview. Since she said there's a big pile, I'm having just a little bit of hope for PD to be included on this album, as TBT is supposed to include all of Ev's sound palette.

That plans changed due to the pandemic. It's now focused on rock with synths n programming - the opposite direction to Synthesis.

So you're basically saying we're getting Ev3 2.0? Lmao Not really. There’s a lot that’s different with what we’ve heard so far lyrically and musically that set it far apart from the self titled. Not all heavier music is the same.

I'm also hoping for other Lillywhite session songs to be on the new album. Where have you been hiding? That plans changed due to the pandemic. It's now focused on rock with synths n programming - the opposite direction to Synthesis. We know since day 1 that it's gonna be a rock record, but Amy said back in May that they wee going to explore all the different sides of Ev's sound: rock, electronic, and orchestral. She said she wanted a "colour wheel" of sounds and a deconstructed Ev. So I'm expecting for a variety of genres like on TOD where each song is different. Yeah, plans might have changed due to the pandemic, as well as working with different producers to achieve different ranges of genders. We'll have to wait until the album comes out. Haha.

And yeah, the "different Producer for a batch of songs" plan might have changed but I doubt the plan about showcasing all of Ev's sound has been scrapped.
