Def needed to be the first single, IA. At least so far it has the best potential to be a single out of the three. WoY still my fav so far, I am such a sucker for that poppy-melodramatic beginning and the jump from the verse to the rocky chorus, and that epic bridge!
TGIO grew on me but I have the same problem I have with other songs like Erase This, EotD, where I enjoy the verses but lose interest when the chorus kicks in, between the long notes and the mixing(?) of the instruments, they sound messy.
As for this one it is instantly catchy, while the ooohh's are a bit cliche they work well with the song.
I am glad we get to hear more of Amy's lower range, it makes the don't you speak for me part more powerful which highlights the song's theme.

several songs that I truly dislike and skip each time (e.g. Sick, SYW, MoS, ET, Disappear). Oh man, SYW, MoS, and Disappear are my favourites on that album and I hope we get more like that on TBT 😂 I'm with you, man! Sick, Say You Will and Disappear have gotta be three of Evanescence's strongest songs, in my opinion. |

The instruments sound a lot cleaner...wonder how this happened It's certainly not lossless quality; it's artifacting to all hell, so it seems like someone has just recorded the internet stream rather than ripping the direct source file from loudwire. In terms of the mix, I'd say they (Loudwire) are probably in possession of the actual radio remix, and then they've thrown their own multi-band compressor and a bit of their own E.Q on the track for the stream

Really not feeling the radio edit, it's way too compressed for my tastes and they've EQ'd out too much of the character of the instruments. For me this was a big part in what makes the original track so enjoyable, it feels raw and live and you can hear every imperfection in the mix without it sounding messy. It's kinda lost its soul with this edit and just sounds like everything else on the radio - which I guess is the point, but still :/

Have we worked out what the backing vocals are behind the last chorus?
Gotta say I love this song but the mix on the last minute is kinda messy. Her backing vocals are so muffled and quiet I’ve literally got no clue what the lyrics are?

That's funny because I thought about them whether they could do a radio edit where they chop the first bit off and start with the background vocals and this appeared 😁 |

I actually much prefer this mix, to be honest. I can hear a lot more of the layers, much more defined. I wish there was a version of this mix for the full track. |

Wow! Well, I've only heard this once, but I immediately loved it and found it my favorite among the three new ones, but Wasted On You was really good too. Did not care as much for The Game. I fully intend to listen to this more, just been a bit musically sidetracked lately  (oh, it so sucks that EV and Blink 182 are mashed against each other in the video award nomination. I like both bands and both videos. I'm actually kinda hoping EV gets this one and Blink gets the other award they're nominated for.) But yeah, don't have much to say just that it was just what I needed from EV!  |

Probs a lie but someone acting like they know everything lol. I did think it wasn’t going to be this week from the lack of promo or mention about the music video. I’m guessing next week might be when we get it. |
