Words can't describe how much I love this man and his art ❤️ A perfect musician in every sense of the word, a drumming warrior directly came from the land of heavy metal legends! Thanks so much for sharing TDS

This is a brilliant interview! Thanks for sharing. It's good to hear Will open up honestly, specifically on his take on all things Evanescence as I often feel like when they're interviewed as a group the guys often feel like they're expected to just nod along and agree with whatever response Amy gives. Having a more direct "what"s it like for you personally" is a much more refreshing take on the same old questions and it's heartwarming to see how much genuine respect he holds for his bandmates. I hope we get more of this kind of thing in the future, because they're all fascinating people in their own ways. I remember when I met Troy, he seemed really flattered that I took such an interest in his guitar tone and influences. Sometimes I guess it's nice to be Troy, Will, Tim, Jen, Amy from Evanescence rather than *insert instrument*ist from Evanescence.

Thank you so much for posting this, it’s another awesome interview! And man, can this guy rock out! I can definitely say that I think this is my favorite lineup. They all seem genuinely happy and excited to be together, not just in interviews but also live and their musical tastes and talents all click so well. But I do miss Terry 😢

It's nice to also hear the input they have. Like Jen who proposed to perform Say You Will and play the bass, because she knew that Tim was a great guitarist. Or, the reason Europeans got the new rap version of BMTL is Will.

After reading Amy and Jen's interviews and now this, it seems all the band member are VERY excited for the upcoming shows and performing at Sydney Opera House. And yes, why not? IT'S SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE!

It makes me so excited to see interviews of Jen and the guys! We hear so much about Amy's excitement and personal feelings about albums, tours, etc., but it's always good to know how everyone else is feeling, too. And I always smile in the moments when the other Ev members talk a it about working with Amy, just because I think a lot of people perceive Amy as a diva and don't know how nice and respected she is by other nice people. Lol. Will is definitely one of my two favorite drummers ever, along with Jukka from Nightwish, because he's so fun to watch. When I heard some of the first live performances with Troy and Will about a decade or so ago, I was like "wow... it sounds so... alive." I love the energy they bring to the live performances and their open-mindedness to Amy's creative ideas.

Will seems really genuinely excited about the next record. The suggestion that they may well be incorporating skills developed from Synthesis as well as Will's excitement suggests to me that we could be getting a really experimental and unorthodox hard rock/metal record. Something with a similar dynamic to The Open Door, which I would be 100% okay with if this were true.
Edit: "opened up a lot of different doors" Gahhhh the references xD
