As usual. Read as "You're not one of the cool kids." Can we at least once have an event in which everyone can feel included? It's just not fair. Fans in all countries are equal. We all deserve to be allowed to watch videos, hear songs, purchase albums, enter in contests. Not to be told that we're not included.
I did enter anyway and I'll worry about my address in case I win (I most likely won't).

That sucks I must admit I hadn't realised that was the case when I posted this. I definitely feel like this is one of the big teething problems they're having being Wind Up free. That and the online shop side of things. I'll update the original post once I know which countries can and can't enter. Really sorry about this.
It's open to the US, Canada and The UK. A lot of people from other countries entered anyway because at this point our Twitter timelines are flooded with it. That's how I know what the fb link was supposed to be.
From the rules:
DO NOT ENTER UNLESS YOU ARE ELIGIBLE AND LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) OR THE UNITED KINGDOM AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.
(capslock and all)
I don't think it's because they're not under a label anymore. I've always had problems buying things and entering contests. I couldn't even buy the albums in store and had to use friends abroad to get them. The joys of growing up in a small country nobody cares about. But even in countries like Japan and France I often felt and still feel excluded.

Yeah, it sucks. I feel a bit bad because in all honesty I couldn't care less whether I win or not. I mean free signed merch would be cool, but it's not as if I really need it. There are plenty of people whom this would mean loads to, people who would never be able to buy said merchandise let alone win it. The US, Canada and UK get Ev coming over loads. I highly doubt I will win, but I'm actually quite tempted to do some kind of giveaway competition on here if I do. On the plus side this seems to be achieving its principle goal of getting loads of people streaming and sharing their new stuff and getting the word out there. That and I really can't see the merch going to anybody who's not a huge fan, so at least it'll go to a good home (:
