Thought this Q&A/Performance needs its own thread and even though I can't find any part of Synthesis listening or Q&A with the fans, they will be added here if the become available later.

The listening party was private. I'm not sure why Amy called it a Q&A though. It was just an interview.

I always love listening to her play Good Enough. It's actually the one song where I feel like she consistently makes the most mistakes in her piano playing, and I love that. Every performance just feels so much more genuine because of it and because each one is so much more unique. It also makes me feel better about myself, because I don't think I've ever played that song 'right' or at least well enough that I'm satisfied it does justice to the original. It's sort of a reminder to me, that even people who inspire me as much as Amy has over the years are very much human. In many ways this is just another 'perfect imperfection' and I love it so much more because of it.

That was one of those quotes! I think I've heard something similar from her in the past. and even though it makes me have such reactions: towards it, but at the same time can't deny that I loved it and admit she's right. ---------------------------------------------
I so envy those who had this chance to be there. God! how lucky can someone be to be in such silent peaceful place, watch a long Amy Lee interview, listen to Ev's whole upcoming album one month before release AT HER PRESENCE, watch a great performance from such close distance without any disturbing noise, and talk intimately to her after the show.

The listening party was private. I'm not sure why Amy called it a Q&A though. It was just an interview. There was a posting on Facebook for the first 50 likes...and they got tickets to go. It was only visable for people in the NYC area... however I would have loved the chance to go. I would have flown into NYC for it. I mean it would have been really short notice and the date fell on my planned vacation but still. It's a shame because it was a really special event and I kept saying many times that they should do something like this for fans to hear the album first. Oh well. I am still bitter about it though. lol. Her performance of Good Enough was beautiful! Just made me sad it's not on Synthesis though.
