So since we've been talking about Perfect Dream lately, I decided to listen to the clip and I noticed the song has this really cool sound in it, it sounds like a music box is playing in the song.

Yea! This song gives off a Weight of the World vibe which I'm excited about. I've been dying to hear this song for so long, hopefully we finally get to hear it.

If the rumors are true, since Geostorm and Outposts are both space themed films, it would be interesting to hear how those tracks will fit their respective movies. Will did say that the tracks were "futuristic" or something in that vein.
Having read the plot for Geostorm, basing on the title alone, "At Your Command" sounds fitting. The title actually reminds me a bit of The Only One. Though I don't really get that futuristic/space sound from Perfect Dream. I know we only heard less than a minute of the track (and unfinished one at that), but it's very earthy, warm, tribalistic, etc. If anything, it's more "Avatar" rather than "Gravity." So yeah, it will be interesting to hear final version.
Oh, I kinda get the feeling that Perfect Dream will be a really short track, probably like SS, hopefully not though...

Wait, what's going on? Sent from my Nexus 5 using proboards There was a rumor based off of a movie page off of IMDb. It said Perfect Dream will be one of the songs in the movie. However, Outpost, said movie's page, said it was untrue. Anyway, I hear like a steal drum kind of sound in the song. I know it isn't exactly a steel drum, probably more like some other drum and some deeper cymbal and their crashes over a drum track beat.

Now that Ev are free from Wind-up, Amy can do whatever she wants with those songs, right?

I don't think so. I think Wind Up will own the rights to any songs published during that period. That's how record labels release best of's and stuff after bands or artists leave. I think that's right anyway - it'll depend on what sort of deal the band signed when they joined, but judging by the utter farce that was the latter part of Ev's career, I wouldn't be surprised if they signed a deal in which they relinquished an insane amount of control. To be honest, I'm quite surprised Wind Up haven't released a Best Of CD for Ev with an extra track or two now they're not part of the label any more.

Wind-Up sold all master recordings (back catalog) to Bicycle. Wouldn't the sale have transferred the rights from Wind-Up to Bicycle? Anyway, she's probably signed an NDA about it and can't talk about it, but maybe Amy fought for the rights to the stuff and got them with the conclusion lawsuit since it seems she's won?

Totally forgot about that! That completely explains it. I always assumed that's why If You Don't Mind never received an official release - because Wind Up were saving it for a bonus track on the best of.
Fingers crossed we do get to hear some of the stuff eventually then!

It's nice enough to speculate, but please do not get your hopes up without concrete evidence.

I know this isn't related to the topic, but everything involving Ev/Amy is pushed back/delayed. For instance, L&L performance, Muppets Revised album (but it was finally released in 2011), third album release... I don't know if this was ever mentioned here, but Steve stated on Twitter that the album was supposed to have 12 songs. And Terry said that as the album was getting finished, the label said that was no Ev, though they approved the "project" in a meeting Amy had with Wind-Up back in 2009. She even said on Twitter she was going to celebrate it with a glass of wine or champagne. There you go:

There you go: Those were demos at the time as they didn't start "polishing" the until after that meeting, at least that's my understanding since they went back in the studio and then was pulled in March or something. If Ev3 was going to be the Lillywhite sessions Ev3 would have been released September 2010.

This coupled with what she said today sounds promising that we might get to hear some of those songs next year.
