12 years later and she has already released almost all of them, she must have 3 or 4 songs from Broken Records and she has never done something solo, I don't know if it's a fear of taking chances and doing something different, if she did I would give my support, because I always expected something different even if it's an EP.
Unfortunately Amy is unlucky to get onto a soundtrack, and so much discarded material I think she should be venturing out more solo or even trying to make it happen in evanescence, if she takes a chance every now and then.
I don't know how it works but if Amy has contact with a fan I think that fan should support her in some way, say that we are ready for her to do something different in the band or maybe solo.
Amy is a great all around artist, she has a lot of potential, I believe she is not showing her all, I hope on the next album she throws all her ideas out.

I was googling and found an interview with Radio Metal in September 2011 where Amy talks about this scrapped album. Although she later confirmed the label scrapped the album, she would always say it was her decision to shelve it early in the Ev3 era. Thank you for sharing this! This makes so much more sense than Wind-Up just hating it and demanding a rock album. This kinda shows how real it was when they said Ev3 was really about the band. It seems like it was during this time, Amy was able to see and understand the good that Evanescence can bring for her after what might have felt like a time where the band might be the death of her. She went through so much unnecessary criticism during the TOD era and fan expectations were insane. I wouldn't have blamed her for not making music again. I'm just thankful she chose to continue.

But Amy later said they hated it. This is what she said when she released the Chris Izaak cover in 2015: But yeah, there are times she contradicts herself throughout the years.
