Hey guys just wondering if anyone else has come across any un official merch being sold online? Should I report it? and how? An advertisement for evanescence Leggings and a hoodie came up on my fb today from a newly created fan page that links to sunfrog. I wont put links because i don't want to tempt any of you. I am thinking about about contacting the merch store since I can't report it on fb or the other website since it has to be the intellectual property owner that reports the infringement. Maybe I shouldn't care but my logic tells me apart from it being wrong, Is that now that Ev are not on a label so merch sales most likely contribute in funding their touring and I want them to keep touring and come to Australia.... So any thoughts on the topic would be great.

That Facebook thing is going around for EVERYTHING! This past day I've seen GoT, Final Fantasy, Ev and Eminem.
They must be making so much on fake stuff D:

I doubt it's the same people every time but I see it all over FB with various things I like. Most of the comments are people saying that you should buy from the officials instead so I doubt it's anything to worry about.
Also I feel like it isn't any different then when people get custom stuff made for themselves.

IMO, when it comes to most un-official Ev merch, in general, they are not really a horrible thing. Usually they are tshirts, stickers or posters that really do nothing except for promote the name of Evanescence I am actually on the verge of purposefully purchasing some unofficial Ev merch due to the official Ev store having an extremely limited amount of items for sale. I am even thinking about screen printing my own Ev shirts for this same reason. I love Ev and there are certain photos of Amy that I also adore and would love to make into something. I have been checking the official Ev store now and again to see if they get anything new but there have been no updates for quite awhile and items are disappearing. I would really like to have an Evanescence sleeveless t-shirt, but the only tanks that they have, or ever seem to have, are women's tank tops. Also, am in love with the Evanescence t shirt that they have on Evstore that has the band name repeated and fading out downwards in rainbow-ey colors. But the back of the shirt has all the 2016 tour dates on it... i hate that, i didn't make it to a show this fall, otherwise i would show off the tour dates. But i also think that trashes up the shirt / takes as away from the awesome design on the front by contrasting it and leaving the aesthetic less clean. God, I seriously wish i could design shirts for Ev. Anyone know where Amy hires her designers?

I could make some unofficial merch, i created a teeshirt that i wear frequently, using puffy paint and a teeshirt. it's not the best, but in general unofficial merch isn't harmful, unless they take the designs from the official merchandise then there might be copyright issues there.
