So please Rarkphoenix, tell Amy that I love her <3 from my part! This reminds me... If during this tour someone is adequate enough at the M&G, we can mention ET. I was seriously considering doing this, but I'm not 100% sure how it would go down (what with the drama that closed the old ET). I'm fairly sure she's aware of us though, so I guess a quick shoutout on behalf of the forum wouldn't go amiss. I'll see if I can tactfully slip it into conversation. If I get escorted out of the venue by security guards, we know it's gone badly Another thing I was thinking was bringing a smartphone in and asking if Amy would be prepared to give a quick message to the forum that I'd then record for us, but I doubt they'd allow that for security reasons. I'll play it by ear when I get there. I think asking her to make an account could be a bit extreme though, if she suggests it herself I'll probably say go for it (: princeofpersia I'M GOING TO HUG ME AN AMY XD But yeah... Fairly sure VIP has genuinely sold out now, but there are still a few standing tickets left if anybody wants to join! Venue WebsiteAXS website Awww even if VIP tickets were on sale yet,I can't afford VIP ones ,because I have to pay the flight ticket, the hotel...SUCKKS..I hope a Ev's concert in Spain..so then maybe If I save money I can go and I can go VIP too haha! So please Rarkphoenix, tell Amy that I love her <3 from my part! It sounds like they've still got dates to confirm so fingers crossed!

I'll play it by ear when I get there. They don't allow smartphones inside M&Gs? Since when? At Ozzfest we all had our phones, cameras and everything with us. The Mexicans even took selfies with Amy. The whole thing was so surreal to me my brain completely shut down but, had I been adequate enough, I could have asked her. I don't know how different paid M&Gs are but if I manage to keep my cool this time, I'll probably try my luck. paula I'm currently living in France but I didn't think twice before booking a ticket for Germany. Experience has taught me that waiting for the perfect moment leaves you empty-handed. You can wait for a date in Spain or just grab the opportunity and organise a small adventure.

I've only been to a couple of meet and greets since I'm not usually bothered about spending the extra money to talk to band members, but from my limited experience, it's always been pretty strict (lots of security, briefing from staff before we're allowed in, checked for weapons at the door etc.) and I'd kind of imagined it'd be the same if not worse for Evanescence as I know she's had previous experience with particularly crazy fans. I also figured that, since my VIP entitles me to a professional photograph with the band, they'd want to make sure we don't take the piss and end up going home with about 90 selfies as well. Hopefully I'm wrong and we can bring in a phone at least, as I can't imagine the band themselves would be averse to having photos taken of them since that's a big part of the reason they're there anyway. I'll see how much time I've got available to me and what they're prepared to do. I'm still not sure if it's going to be a personal thing (5 minutes in a room with the band) or if the band are just milling around in the same room as all of the VIPs. We'll see what happens. Would be nice to get something for the forum, though.

Rarkphoenix is right. between all those people and in a hurry it doesn't sound so good to keep her there and explain everything to her. no need to mention that taking autographs and pictures wouldn't leave enough time for it either. I've always thought about this idea since I joined ETR but in my opinion it'd be a better idea to give her a normal length letter. It'd be kind of whoever is going to do it to write a letter from "us" and just let her know that our community still exist (in case if she doesn't know it yet) and we still support her. there's no need to ask and force her to join us and things like that. just letting her know about what happened after original ET went down and most of us are still here together, and giving her the forum's address and make sure she knows that the fanclub still exists and is so active and we all love her.

Going waaaay off topic here, but this has given me an idea actually. We've got a way until June, so we could always pool together and come up with something simple that I could give to the band. Maybe a sheet of paper that I could print off with photos of those of us who wish to partake holding up personal messages etc. etc. That way, those of us who don't have a chance to meet the band can still 'meet' them in a sense, the guys can see our faces or whatever and know we're grateful for their existence. The trouble with sending messages via Twitter is that they get so many that they often don't see it when fan groups work together for these kinds of projects. This way, we can be 100% sure the band know we're thinking of them and still supporting them. Just an idea.

Going way back, there was an Emilie Autumn fan meet up in London that I went to, a load of people (including myself, I seem to remember I used a lot of glitter) did pages for a book that was then given to Emilie, maybe we could do something like that?

So anyone wanna be a tour guide for someone who's never been to London and will be going alone to this concert?

^Where are you travelling from to the concert? I can give advice, unsure until closer to the day about when I'll actually arrive. You just reminded me of my first ever concert where I went to see WATF in London by myself when I didn't know the city either.

I'm coming from Sunderland (up north) and I haven't booked any travel yet.

Most trains from the North come into Kings Cross station. So then you can get the Piccadilly (dark blue) tube line down to Hammersmith.

I'm coming from Sunderland (up north) and I haven't booked any travel yet. Being east coast there's a chance you may be coming into Liverpool Street instead of Kings Cross (not sure on this as I'm from the West Country and not 100% sure of the line layout this far east). If it is Liverpool Street rather than Kings Cross, your safest bet would probably be to hop on either the Hammersmith and City (pink) or Circle (yellow) lines. Either will be fine as long as the terminus is Hammersmith. Hope this helps! (:
