So about how much do House of Blues events usually run? This is honestly so much better as I bet the tickets will be cheaper and the setlist longer. I was honestly hoping for a June or July date as things would be more settled by then, but my sister said she will try her best to help me get to this, by watching my son or whatever. Hope it works out.

Not much honestly. I think the last show, during an album tour was $50! So I am guessing this might be the same or cheaper. I am excited! That venue is amazing.

Looking for any kind of help! I have been following Evanescence since the first concert I saw them at in 2004 in Washington DC for their World Domination Tour. Anytime they're near where I am, I HAVE to be there front and center so I've been to probably 4 or 5 concerts. I was a vocal performance major in college and my dad, who passed away on my 22nd birthday, used to always ask me to sing My Immortal to him. When he passed I ended up getting "You still have all of me" tattooed in his memory. When Evanescence came out with their limited edition Fallen vinyl record, I of course, jumped on it. When it finally arrived, I posted on Facebook how excited I was to finally have it and a friend of mine also posted how much she loved Evanescence. That was the first conversation I ever had with who is now my fiancée. We bonded quickly over our love of Amy Lee and the rest is history as they say! I am very sad to say that my fiancée will not be joining me at House of Blues for the concert because she tours for a living as the Dance Captain for Disney Live and is currently in Japan for 3 months. I would love nothing more than to be able to have my vinyl record autographed by Amy Lee so that way we could have it at our wedding when we get married on our 5 year anniversary 3/9/18. As you can tel this means a lot to me and any kind of advice that I can get I'll take it! Thanks guys and can't wait to rock out with everyone at House of Blues and Clearwater!

I'm driving from Philadelphia, PA for this show and am absolutely ecstatic. How long before doors open should I plan to get there if I want to be in the first few rows? Ahhhh I'm already stressing but it's an excited stress

It's always pretty hard to tell if and when the band are doing signings, and they don't do it at every show. I'd suggest keeping your eyes posted on social media because I know with the last tour they had some fairly last minute meet and greets. Failing that, try to find out a bit about the venues/where the tour buses usually are and where bands usually appear if they're doing signings. All good procedures to follow if you want to catch any band. Amy in particular quite often does signings/says hi after shows if there are fans about and they aren't really obnoxious and in her face all the time. Basically, try and make sure that you're in the right place at the right time so that if something DOES happen, you're ready for it. The longer you're at the venue, the greater the chance. Just try not to feel too upset if for whatever reason the band don't feel like meeting people that particular night. We're all human after all. Ahhhh I'm already stressing but it's an excited stress A looooong time from my experience. Evfans are pretty nuts. I'd imagine Floridians and fans from other parts of SE U.S. would have a better idea of what the fans are usually like at Ev shows (I'm from the UK), but I can only stress that the earlier you get there the better. I doubt you'll get many people camping out over night, but if it's possible to at least scope out the queue late morning/early afternoon then do it.

I have a ticket for GA, so is it kind of just get in asap to get a good spot, not assigned seating?

Gotta scurry in and plant yourself in the best possible spot and pray you don't have to pee.

Yup. I find the best strategy is try not to drink too much beforehand (common sense really), get right to the barrier and once Ev's playing make sure you get yourself a cup/bottle of water from the security guys. The only problem with GA is that it seems to be a constant war between wanting to pee and getting really hot and dehydrated, haha XD. Worst place is a few rows from the front. Right at the front you're in the water zone and closer to the band anyway.

The water zone?! I've never seen them give water at venues here even up front; maybe the British are just nicer. At first when you said "get a cup" I thought you meant to pee in to keep your spot hahaha.

Pahaha, I have such a great mental image of people peeing into cups in full view of the band now Yeah, every gig I've been to, the security always pass around water bottles or plastic cups once or twice a gig to keep the audience hydrated. Usually they'll hold a bottle of water up in the air and then the people who want it most will put their hands up and security will pass it down/throw it to them if it's in a bottle. I'm sure if you're particularly desperate and you ask, they'll oblige. Seems a bit crazy venues not looking after the welfare of a paying audience. Edit: Or just shout loudly at Amy. She always has at least one bottle on her Baldwin and one by the drums

lol. I just plan for the worst and make sure I get all my hydration and bathroom breaks on before the show starts.
