I think the thread should stay open. We have a clip, crappy bootleg, fan covers, sheet music, etc. People like talking about what the song might have been and I think there should be a spot to discuss it. As long as it doesn't become anything negative or a Legends and Lyrics bashfest, I guess I don't see the harm in letting the thread stay open.

Throughout the years Amy made it very clear that she is not going to release it, but people keep asking about it. Lol. It's more likely to see the Broken Record material coming out because some of that made it to TBT. Has she soured that much on the song as of late? Back in 2016 she seemed ambivalent, but not particularly against its release based on the quote below: (Source was originally from FaceBook which prompts you to Log-In now for some reason - so it's on EvRef) We have to remember that Amy tends to be obsessed with her "new" songs before moving on to something else. Remember back when TOD was being written and people asked her if some of her old songs were being remade for the album and she balked at the idea? Or when people ask about Origin and she downplays the old stuff? Or how it sometimes pains her (LOL) to play songs like 'BMTL' or 'My Immortal,' but she does so because she knows the fans like them and look forward to them? She tends to be very forward-focused with her music and I'm not surprised if someone asked her if she plans on releasing 'Your Love' now that she'd be against it because she's currently invested in TBT songs. I still think Legends & Lyrics will e v e n t u a l l y release it. Maybe in the next decade when a new Ev live set gets leaked LOL  |

DarkFlare89 Well, she said she doesn't control its release and this is up to L&L, as her quote from 2017 below (from EvReference): Someone said they've been told by L&L people that they don't own the rights to her performance anymore, which is why it hasn't been released all these years. They even posted a statement about contractual issues on their Facebook, which may be related to Amy's performance as they get asked about it a lot.

On the early listening of TBT with Brazilian fans, Amy was asked if the song would be released and she said no. She finds hilarious how much she is asked about this song. lol I was on this live, Amy herself didn’t expect that kind of question, and all the fans laughed at this question and especially at Amy's answer. Because the whole band is in a new era, a new work to be released and a fan asking about something from 2009. He is being super massacred in Brazilian forums for this useless question i could only assume it was that fan that we only know as dionafinamor. I think the thread should stay open. I was on this live, Amy herself didn’t expect that kind of question, and all the fans laughed at this question and especially at Amy's answer. Because the whole band is in a new era, a new work to be released and a fan asking about something from 2009. It was Santiago, who is a huge YL enthusiast. He's become a persona non grata. There are fans indeed that have a better quality audio of the song but won't share it. I know one that heard it and said Amy's vocals are clearer. |

Legends And Lyrics can no longer release due to some problems that they are unable to solve with the lawyers. Whoever has it should leak the version with clearer vocals. Hearing that someone passed the song on to one Brazilian fans.

But just like any other fandom, fans will be selfish and rub in other’s faces that they have something that they themselves should not even have. I say let the babies have their bottles. I’m sure Amy wouldn’t be too thrilled if she met a “fan” and found out that they might have bragged about having this or that they tried to extort a bootleg to the real fans for an absurd amount of money. Once upon a time I wished for this song. I think my desire for this track at the time came from a desire to hear new Evanescence music during a lull but I don’t think the L&L clip or the low quality leak showed us a song that was much different from ballads we heard during The Open Door era. I’m glad we got glimpses into this song but I can see why Amy moved on from it and I guess I have too. |

Assume this song gets leaked in HQ quality...then what? Is something profound going to revealed in a song that is now 12 years old? We have a whole new album of material at this point. I mean, if I do get a chance to hear it, I probably will listen to it. But I'm not exactly dying for it. Would be a nice time capsule of something that's been lost for a long time. Like those "lost" or "banned" episodes of television that you hear about sometimes. I just hope people get the hint now to stop bothering Amy herself about it. She doesn't like to live in the past.

After 12 years, I can't understand why these fans want to continue holding Your Love's recording. The song will never be released. Someone should tell Amy that certain fans feel exclusive to having the music, who knows, she might release the demo.Many fans have recently discovered that whoever recorded it has not erased it and is somewhat disappointed that some listen and others do not.

I'm one that has heard it because one of those fans was holding it above everyone's heads that they had it so I asked them to prove they had it instead of holding it over people's heads and bragging about it. They uploaded it to soundcloud and deleted it shortly after they knew I had listened to it. |

Some of these fans are already bragging about having the song with the clearest vocals. I heard it and really real. I don't know if it will leak to everyone.
