I don't think it would a big deal if it leaks, unless it's a professional recording and you got it by hacking Amy's computer. lol! I think it's ok when it comes to a bootleg, even when it's a high quality one. I think Amy couldn't care less about the song to the point of not wanting to release it. But it's known she doesn't control its ("official"/acoustic) release, but L&L instead. However, I don't think they will put it out after all this time and waiting. Haha! It's no use messaging and begging them to put it though. I don't think Amy doesn't even know the preview of the demo was leaked. About the new recording, the program has rights to the recording but after 12 years they don't seem to want to release it anymore. Amy is in control of releasing the studio or demo version or singing it at a concert. Whatever you were told, she won't release it/play it live because she's not so into it anymore, just like My Immortal... she had her time with YL. Back to 2009 it was a thing, but now 12 years later she can't connect to it. She made it clear in the latest statements and gave a straight answer to that Santiago boy during the early listening party of TBT. I'm not hyped about it anymore, but I'd love to hear the clearer bootleg just to understand the lyrics. We all have an idea of the music, but not lyrics. All we got is the chorus and something along the lines of "I want to fly" and "open my eyes, teach me to cry. " But certain fans keep the better recording under lock and key just to feel 'exclusive.' lol! |

You can hear the lyrics, I'm not the only one here to have that. |

Those who don't have it won't want to discuss something they couldn't hear the lyrics right, and those who have this song don't want to release
I'm not talking about leaks because I know it's forbidden here, I was just asking a question.

I used to think this thread should stay open but I'm at the point where I say close it. If people want to be selfish and hold over the fans' heads a recording that they shouldn't even have and won't share, then I say we stop adding fuel to the fire. This community has had its share of characters but real fans wouldn't be doing this. I say as a fandom, we put an end to it by moving on and shutting down the thread unless by some strange chance we end up getting the song.
I hate saying that because I think there should be a spot to talk about what we know about the song, but, if this is just going to stay a "some fans have the song, haha, you don't" topic, it needs to stop.
