12 years, OMG, I FEEL OLD, SOMEBODY PLEASE STOP TIME.
Can we go back to the excitement we all felt about finding Ev 12 years ago?

Yes!!!!!! I wish everyone could feel the way Ev made me feel 12 years ago.... I will never forget the first time I got to listen to Fallen all the way through. It will always be one of the most special days of my life. Evanescence has always been there for me. After 12 years, I can't say the love has diminished one bit. Today, we all wear our Ev shirts and blast their music in our cars with our windows down (if possible). Today we all remember why we love this band, and the moment they touched our lives. Happy World Evanescence Day, everyone! I hope it's amazing.

I remember the first night I heard about them. I was 12 years old playing with my Barbie dolls and I heard a piano melody and I looked at the radio as if was being bewitched or something. Once Amy started singing, "How can you see into my eyes, like open doors", the spell was cast I think I'm not alone in that feeling (even to this day!) when we all hear the piano melody of "Bring Me To Life". Or even the first guitar notes of any other Ev song. Happy Evanescence listening! <3

God, no, I don't want to go back to 2003 The internets were so slow and finding pictures was so hard and all the magazines were English but i didn't know what those words mean... And pictures on diskettes! That could erase itself, even before you came home from school! Lol, i remember how i spent a lot of time (and crazy amounts of money) in internet café in town and also on library pc instead of learning to school... and i cried so hard when Ev went to germany for the first time because i knew i can't ever afford this. it was all so slow on the computers and so ...Windows 98... and you had to write websites in the notepad because there was no CMS for normal not-so-nerdy people. (well except for the crazy phpnuke(?) exodus evanescence and the huge evthreads thing vBulletin later, i know.)but yeah, i loved every single moment of it, and i still do. We wouldn't be here like this if all these things never happened. It makes sense, finally.

Damn, back in the day I had absolutely no idea how to internet xD It's a miracle I managed to do anything. And yeah, I had a load of floppy mishaps while trying to collect as many Ev pictures as possible. We didn't have internet at home until 2004 and it was still horrible xD
