This thread is for discussion of the song 'Can't Stop What's Coming' featuring Dave Eggar from Amy Lee's album, Aftermath.

Wow, just heard the itunes preview. This song seems so calm on the intro first, but then there’s that tension and… the didjeridoo ( ) it's kinda exotic, i feel there's more, i want!

Why isn't anyone talking about this song. It's so freaking good. It sounds like it belongs in a horror game or film, like something from Guillermo del Toro or the games Fatal Frame or Silent Hill

Wooow. one from my instant faves. i love the percussion pattern coming through the entire song. also the seamless connection between Drifter, CSWC and then Voice in My Head is great...

This one is so amazing!!! One of my favorite so far.
I'm so glad that Amy got her chance to do this kind of music, even if it's not a proper solo album, it's so nice that we got to hear her doing music outside the Evanescence box. I'm so excited now for an actual solo album from her.

The beats remind me of Massive Attack.

The beats remind me of Massive Attack. I was gonna say the same thing. This song is perfect. I cried while listening to it. It is so stripped down and simple, yet hauntingly beautiful. Damn, Amy. Shame on Wind Up from keeping Amy from making music like this. She was born for this

The first notes reminded me of this: Anyhow, it is a beautiful song. Not sure how many times I got emotional listening to it.

She was born for this Completely agree... Think of all the unique and beautiful music we could have gotten by now if Wind-Up wasn't there to interfere. I so wish this song was longer. I didn't want it to end. Was unbelievably haunting..

This track has a few points that remind me of the intro played at the secret show back in 2009.

This track has a few points that remind me of the intro played at the secret show back in 2009. Same, some parts remind me of the 2009 intro while some parts (mostly vocal) remind of Final Fantasy X's fayth hymn.
