I think if she watched her weight and hit the gym a few times a week, she could have that circa-2003 body back and it would help sales for the new 2018 album. I hope you know how insulting that sounds. Amy is a lot more than her body and how it looks.

I hope you know how insulting that sounds. Amy is a lot more than her body and how it looks. It's not supposed to sound insulting. I'm also not saying she's fat. But I think she would sell more records if she came back with a rocking body. I'm sorry to say it but people enjoy that. If she could get down to this size again, that would be great. She's always had that double chin but there are even medications like Kybella that can fix that so she wouldn't have to go under the knife. But I doubt she'll do this and that's fine. She'll probably not sell as many records in 2018 but I agree it's the music that's what is important. I just hope Imperfection isn't any indication of what the next "real" album will be like because I'm not a fan of it.

It's "not supposed to" but it is. I have a suggestion for you fengrush. As this discussion is getting increasingly off-topic and you clearly enjoy it, I would like to redirect you to The Diet Thread and the Sports, Gym and Sports Nutrition Thread, where you can share your diet plan and call it "that 2003 body" without risking being awarded an honorary ban for your outstanding talent (intentional or not) to turn every thread into a war zone. And who knows, it might make us all fit and successful in 2018 (I promise to mention your contribution in my Nobel Prize acceptance speech). Everyone else who wants to discuss the relevance of the BMI scale or diets can also click on the links above, Sincerely, Boss

Anyway, question I’ve been meaning to ask. Is there a way anyone can find out who designed that awesome red dress from the Imperfection video?

@frozenlithium Hmm we might have more info on the dress once the video's released or when we start seeing more official promo shots. An interviewer might ask or Amy might talk about it, especially since it's so beautiful.

Here we go again with this conversation. I wouldn't call Amy fat not in 2003 or 2008 or now. Yes, she looks different in 2017, but aging does that to our bodies. Most of us gain weight and it's hard to lose it easily once the metabolism begins to die when you're 30. I think it's her face that confuses a lot of people. She has a round face with juicy cheeks and chin. When I met her in 2007 and 2011 I was surprised to see how thin she was compared to me back then.

Back on topic (again). I adore the colour red on Amy. The Going Under video, the Sweet Sacrifice video - it's a stunning colour on her, very eye catching!

Her weight shouldn't and isn't an issue for selling records. The quality of the music is. Quite frankly I don't think Amy seems to care what anyone says about her weight, and to be in the spotlight is something she has never cared for. She makes music because she enjoys it... because it's her passion and she seems to being just fine the way she is doing it.

I would have to agree. He really knows how to create that imagery and manipulate it to something beautiful, yet intriguing, yet frightening in it's own way! I love it!
