Yeah I don't like it because it arranged the guitar part to the piano. lol. I'd much rather have sheets for the acoustic version.

I really, really love how Carrie and Lori sang the back-up vocals on the recording. From the first time I heard the song, I thought the harmonies sounded a little odd for Amy's voice, but it made so much sense when I learned that she brought her sisters in to sing. Their voices all sound so alike (probably because they're sisters and all learned to sing in the same house) and I think that it's a really awesome thing to do.

Talking about the song in general, I don't like it. To be true and honest to myself, I think it was a childish attitude from Amy's part. But you know what? I'd probably do the same. I'm just not sure if I would make it public, but I'd definitely spit some lyrics out to my ex. Apart from that, I really like the fast piano and the guitars.

I honestly still have the feeling CMWYS doesn't fit TOD, like, at all. ;D
Lyric-wise? Yes. Music-wise? Just no. Not to mention it used to have an entirely different vibe for me until I watched its video for the first time. But don't get me wrong, I still like the song. I've just outgrown it quite a bit and I don't listen to it that much any more. In fact, if I listen to the whole album, I mostly skip CMWYS and flow from SS straight-forward into WotW. Aah, what a smooth transition that is! :3
PS: The giggling at the end of CMWYS is still pretty cool, though. xD

Just thought I would post Oliver Goodwill's CMWYS experience here. He originally posted on EvBoard.

For a long time, I thought the lyrics were "And yours truly" instead of "and you're too late". xD

If I remember correctly, she never intended to actually put this song out. She wrote it purely for herself, to get her feelings out. But then I think Terry and maybe her dad heard it and convinced her that they should make it an Ev song and record it. So yeah, the lyrics are harsh, but it seems she really didn't write them with the intention of calling him out in front of the world. I honestly still have the feeling CMWYS doesn't fit TOD, like, at all. ;D Lyric-wise? Yes. Music-wise? Just no. Not necessarily in a bad way, but it was just so totally different for them. I really loved it after a couple listens though. But then when I heard the album, I initially liked everything else way more and "CMWYS" became my least favorite. It also sounded really out of place to me and I always skipped it for a long time. But my love for the song slowly came back over the years. I still enjoy the hell out of this song. It's fun, catchy, and full of attitude.

Worm Baby If that wasn't what she intended, then I don't think she would have told everyone that it was about him.

Worm Baby If that wasn't what she intended, then I don't think she would have told everyone that it was about him. I'm pretty sure she avoided specifically saying it was about him at first. But it was completely apparent that it was and couldn't have been about anyone else, so there was really no point in stepping around it anymore.

Where did you hear this? I only remember GE being the song that wasn't intended to be on the album. As for her calling out Shawn, she didn't initially. She initially said this song was about addiction and how it can ruin peoples lives.
