I have a love-hate relationship with Paula's vocals when she's doing backing vocals with Amy, in some songs i don't like it at all and in some other songs i love it. I also think their voices went much better together this time than the last time they sang together.
Paula's voice when she's singing solo is great, she's got a great voice.
And Amy's voice when she's not singing Ev songs sounds so different in my ears, is it just me?

And Amy's voice when she's not singing Ev songs sounds so different in my ears, is it just me? Nope, it's not just you. I think her vocals in Ev songs were somewhat moaning. In The Beatles song, for instance, her voice sounds completely different. It's like she was just having fun and not taking herself too seriously. I remember someone writing that listening to her unending belting on EV3 is an exhausting experience. I, instead, need to admit that I really miss her heavier sound. That's what I fell in love with her the first place. I guess I'm a bad person, but honestly, I'd find her ballad voice exhausting if she recorded a full-lenght album of them. Additionally, even though she sounds absolutely perfect in You've Got a Friend, just to mention one, it's not anything mind-blowing for me. Even though a solo album would be pretty neat, I think it's still Ev that really brings out the uniqueness of her voice and talent... They had a great show last week, but a melodramatic, powerfull sound is what I'm longing for. I miss the raw enery of the band performances. And the belting, too... EDIT: I need to add that I think Find a Way is better than any of the songs on Ev3. But that's still how I feel.

^^^ I couldn't agree more. I love hearing Amy belt out, especially on the emotionally charged songs. It's like a cry of pain, anger or frustration, but I wish Amy would explore the scope of her voice more. For me, the song that really highlights the more delicate, sensual and lighter side of her voice is Halfway Down The Stairs. I loved the angelic, more ethereal timbre she has there. I wish there was more of it. Secret Door almost explores the same sort of territory, but for me it's pitched too high and she ends up belting out the chorus when it just doesn't call for it.
I reckon exploring music away from Ev's big, guitar-focussed alt/metal sound would definitely make Amy change the style of her singing. Just listen to the quality of it during the Stompin' Steve vid.

I've heard a rumor that someone recorded the whole concert. Anyone know if it has been posted?

Same here. I love the drama of Ev and Amy's voice is perfect for it, a big part of Ev is Amy's melodramatic vocals (or the biggest probably), but as much as i like it, i also would like to see her exploring other territories of her voice, i like her voice also when she's just having fun and singing normally, without the extra dramatism, and i think that's something she could incorporate to Ev in some songs in the future, to ballance a bit and make an album where she's not using her voice to it's fullest capacity in every single song like she almost did on Ev3. Simple, laid back songs can be awesome too.

Did someone bring the topic up or did she just randomly say that because of twitter comments or whatever? I can't believe people have the audacity to ask her about that...oh wait actually I can *facepalm. Asking a lady about pregnancy is almost like saying that she looks pregnant and she obviously doesn't! Besides, fans aren't entitled to personal information just because we know who she is...just plain inconsiderate imo.

Besides, fans aren't entitled to personal information just because we know who she is...just plain inconsiderate imo. It was actually (kinda) a response to Pj who asked if she'd dressed up for Halloween this year. She said that she hadn't really done anything for Halloween and Pj said something like "Aw, that's a shame." This was as she was heading back to the car. That was the end of it really but just as she was about to get in the car she turned around and said, "Oh and tell everyone on the internet that I'm not pregnant. F**k them." My theory is that when she hadn't posted a picture of herself dressed up people started to speculate that the reason for that was that she was hiding something and set Twitter alight discussing it. So I think maybe when she was asked about Halloween it reminded her of it and caused the outburst. To be honest I don't blame her. Whatever the reason is why her and Josh don't have kids is nobody's business but theirs. So just to clarify - nobody at the benefit concert mentioned anything about pregnancy to her. We weren't that rude or inconsiderate.

I just asked the Halloween costume question because I wanted to know because I love Halloween but also because alot of fans wanted to know too. I didn't even think that they wanted to know because then they would find out if she was pregnant or not. Goodness people are so nosey.
