Bah! Youtube is absolutely refusing to let me upload this god forsaken video of Like You. It always does this to me... What have I done to deserve Youtube's wrath? I seem to be the most incredibly unreliable person I know, haha....
Hm. Is there a specific question you have about the song or a certain part that isn't making sense? 'cause I can just write out what I've painstakingly determined is the correct notes and see if they match up with the sheet music or whatever....

AAAAH! AAAAAAAAH! I shit you not, Sendspace has "temporarily" limited free file limit to 300mb... This file is 400+mb. I CANNOT WIN!
I hate everything.
On the upside, youtube is accepting it now (I re-recorded it and somehow magically it works now... But my usb device keeps disconnecting before the file transfer can finish! AAAAAAAAAH!
If I can win this war with my usb ports, the video will be uploaded in the EIGHTY FIVE GOD DAMN MINUTES it will take youtube to upload something I could download in five. AAAAAAAH!
Ugh, I've had to format my jump drive. I don't know why... I can't help but feel like this is the mac's fault, haha. My pc can't currently connect to the internet... It's this god forsaken mac!

It's been almost a month, I certainly haven't hurried, hehehe.
But after three hours of waiting (because I foolishly thought uploading two videos at once would be convenient) I WON!
Hokay! Because the part is so basic and repetitive, I felt like a real tutorial would be redundant and unnecessary, so I just played the song through at a moderate pace with the camera situated to where you could see every key being pressed. She almost never presses more than one key at a time in this song either, so it's incredibly easy to do so, haha. I actually learned a few things I didn't know in the part though while doing this, mostly before the ending in the higher section.
This is as accurate as I think it's possible to get figuring this song by ear (and I welcome anyone to challenge my ears at doing so, heh). There are two changes I made however, which are at the end of the first verse where the piano either does not play anything or is 99% inaudible. I played a melody that can be heard in the other sounds that leads into the second verse. The second is during the ending, I may or may not have lost track of how many times it repeats the variation between B/D#/C# fifths... But that one isn't significant since it really just boils down to playing as long as she sings, heh, though you may want to take note of when C#5th shows up in between B and D# in the actual song, as I think this is the one thing I may have mixed up. Not sure though... It doesn't make a huge difference when played on piano, but that small change is important in the actual song.
Hold on, made the video private, haha.

I honestly really love Like You. It's one of my favorite Ev songs even though I can't fully relate to it. My mom had a miscarriage when I was maybe 3-4 and that's the closest I ever really got to relating to it, but the miscarriage is not something that upsets me since I was so young. But this song is one of my favorites of all time, despite me not relating to it, which is odd. I guess because it's just so dark and powerful, and that's usually what makes me fall in love with the song. It's such a shame that this song will probably never be played live. It most certainly deserves more recognition.

I love the instrumental part right after the first chorus when she sings "hm-mm-hmmm-hmmmmm..." and also the "halo" part. It sounds so heartwrenching. Also, I have synesthesia, and when she says "foreverMOOORE!" with the guitars, it smells like gasoline to me and tastes like bitter hot chocolate! I love it!
