I don't know if that's legitimate, but I've never heard she talking about her young sister, not like that.

Some time ago, Amy Lee talked about the death of her young sister and how that affected her today.

When you were younger, your 3-years-old sister passed away. You once said that her death "helped" you to be an artist, because the music helped you to get it over.
Her death will always be an important part of who I am. That made me to see this life as a whole. When I was 6, I was getting a perspective that most people don't get until they're adults. I started writing dramatic poetry when I was 10 - it was all about eternity and loneliness. It's funny how I was consumed by those things.
