just watched this video and really enjoyed it. it's one of the best EV drum covers i've ever seen.

I always feel like fan covers turn out better than studio artists' covers... am I the only one?

Eh, the fans are probably a little more passionate about the covers they work on than someone who has their own music career. Can't say much for actual skill involved in covers, since these days there are millions of people out there doing covers that are just as talented if not more than signed artists.
