I'm surprised that there is not thread for this song!


So listening to this song with my bassy headphones, made me appreciate this song a lot more and I noticed a few things I hadn't noticed. ;D

I was so excited for this song. So, sooo excited. I absolutely adored the Robin the Frog version, and Amy did a fantastic rendition. =)

Although, considering this is a solo-Amy project, should this thread really be in the Evanescence Discography/Other Works area of the board? Should there maybe be a solo-Amy thread?

Well Sally's Song is in this section as well and that is an Amy Solo song. As well as Goodnight, Listen to the Rain, I'm So Lonesome I could Cry and Your Love. I'll talk to the other mods about this, though.

Anyway.... On topic...

I went around reading a lot of reviews for the Muppets album and found that most of them ignored Amy's version (Or was that reviews of the Sally's Song album? I can't remember....)... I was a little disappointed. Sure, it's a bit cloying, but it's a very nice and out of the box cover. Not something I would have expected from Amy if I didn't follow Ev so closely. I couldn't be bothered to buy it though, heh... It does kind of frighten me to think that if she made a solo album it'd consist of more songs like this though... This, Swimming Home, Sally's Song, and Together Again paint a very... "Not want I want" kind of picture of Amy's potential solo career, heh... I like her better as an acoustic musician.

Just stumbled back over this song, and I love how playful yet beautiful it is. Keeping everything crossed we get some more stuff like this in the future. Just imagining Amy's lyrics over this type of music.....amazing!
