Oh, they're gonna work with Nick, Ev3's producer, on three songs this first round in the studio, then release one of those as a single... then work with a different producer in different style songs, in the vein of electronica (not Synthesis-esque) and The Open Door. I hope we get to hear some broken record songs, especially Perfect Dream. From that preview she posted 10 years ago (lol), I could feel TOD vibes.

I don't like Nick's work, maybe the bad mixing on Ev3 made me feel this way about him.

I'm nervous about them working with Nick again, even though I do love EV3, I'm not blind to the things that bothered me a little bit. Though we do have to take into consideration WindUp's influence on the overall record.

I'll stay open though. And this interview got me excited!

Wind-Up is the reason they wanted Ev to have a more streamlined sound for the self titled record.

I kind of agree, but not if they're using different producers to explore different aspects of the 'Ev' sound. I think Nick does a great job with the hard rocking stuff, but I'm glad they'll be working with someone else for the electronica stuff.

I really like the idea of singles being released first and then the full album after. It's a tease without the soon! But sOon really does feel like SOON, and the fact that Amy sounds SO excited to release new music makes me even that much more excited. I feel like I'm going to explode!

I do wonder what hidden material Amy has had locked up though for all of these years.

Ev was in Nintendo Fusion tour in 2003. Amy/Ev never wrote any music for Nintendo. that we know of at least.

I think that's what the interviewer meant, the Nintendo Fusion tour. As far as we all know, Amy/Ev didn't write any music for Nintendo, and Wind-Up wouldn't let her/them do it anyway. Remember they didn't let her use her vocals in the Underworld soundtrack due to "legal stuff"?

I hope Nick's production sounds different from Ev3 and is not too loud. There are songs in there I can't even listen with headphones. Excited for the electro stuff as usual. Haha.
