The writer seems a bit like a jerk, but whatever. I liked the remix he brought to my attention...so thanks for showing me this piece of so-called tacky music.

Eh, festivals like this usually attract plagues of pretentious people, so whatever...also as far as I can remember I think this same publication gave Ev3 an unfavorable review, so they might also have a thing against Ev for whatever reason.

So is it like Nightcore?

"I don't think the "kids" are listening to them these days" *assembles facepalm array in response to the patronising ignorance of an elitist music critic trying in vain to be "controversial"* That said, I think the remix is conceptually a pretty interesting idea. Club music and Ev really does work surprisingly well if done tastefully. Spinee's offering doesn't really work for me personally (a bit too high pitched and 'poppy' for the song in my opinion, but could have worked better with a different Ev song). That said, great to see artists keeping Ev's legacy going and pissing off the elitists in the process I guess it is a little, it's certainly sped up/pitch shifted a little. I guess it's Nightcore with a little extra remixing.
