Earlier this year we told you Amy Lee of Evanescence was pregnant with her first child. Today the rock goddess gave birth to Jack Lion Hartzler, an adorable baby boy. (Don't believe us? Check out the photo above!)

The singer shared the news via Twitter and Instagram early Monday. We couldn't be more excited for her!

Amy Lee has someone new to wake her up: her baby boy!

The Evanescence frontwoman welcomed her first child with husband Josh Hartzler on Thursday, July 24, her manager confirms to PEOPLE.

“Our little cub, Jack Lion Hartzler, is here,” Lee, 32, captioned an Instagram photo snuggling her newborn son in the hospital.

“I have never known the depths of my heart till now. The world just exploded into technicolor.”

Jack was born at 7:51 a.m., weighing in at 7 lbs., 13 oz. and measuring 21 inches long, the rep tells PEOPLE.

The singer wed Hartzler, a therapist, in May 2007 and announced in January that they were expanding their family.

“Josh and I are expecting! I’m so happy!” she Tweeted at the time.

On Monday the Evanescence singer, who is married to Josh Hartzler, shared a photo on Instagram of her little boy. The 32-year-old performer captioned the snap, 'Our little cub, Jack Lion Hartzler, is here.'

This is a first child for the Lost In Paradise singer.
In the photo the beauty is seen still in her hospital bed with her gown partially undone.

The baby, who has a cotton cap on his head, is sleeping on her chest.

Lee appears to be makeup free and her dark locks are casually pulled back while some tendrils are loose on her white pillow.

'I have never known the depths of my heart till now. The world just exploded into Technicolor,' Amy added on her account.

Lee tied the knot with Hartzler in 2007. He works as a therapist.

In January the two announced they were going to have a child. 'Josh and I are expecting! I’m so happy!' she tweeted.

EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee welcomed her first child, a son named Jack Lion, last Thursday, July 24.

"I have never known the depths of my heart till now. The world just exploded into Technicolor," Lee wrote on Instagram.

According to People.com, Jack Lion entered the world weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz.

The 32-year-old singer has been married to Josh Hartzler, a therapist, since May 2007. The couple live in New York City.

Lee told The Pulse Of Radio a while back that she missed her family when she was on the road and was starting to think about starting her own. "Definitely," she said. "That's something I long for more and more the older I get, for sure. Not just about kids of my own, but just spending time with my living family. [laughs] Something I really end up missing a lot on the road is that, you know, just down home family time. You miss a lot of that stuff when you're on the road and it's starting to hit me, like, 'Ooh, I can't get that back.'"

With EVANESCENCE currently inactive, Lee recently completed her first film score, with collaborator Dave Eggar, for the movie "War Story". The film premiered in January at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Lee sued her label, Wind-Up Records, for at least $1.5 million over unpaid royalties and other alleged misdeeds, including efforts to sabotage EVANESCENCE's career.

The most recent EVANESCENCE album, a self-titled effort, came out in 2011.
