Hi guys, I had another idea and it involves sampling the high vocals in WotW to recreate the live intro vocals that Amy sometimes sang on Whisper. But I would need to use autotune to get the right notes, only I have no idea what those notes are. This may well be a crap idea and a failure, but I won't know until I try. So if anyone knows what notes she sings during the intro, please let me know, I will be SO grateful Thank you. Oh, and here's one of the performances, if that helps:

I pretty much know what the notes are. Would you like me to screenshot my MIDI program so you have the notes in stave? I just want to play it against the Anywhere But Home audio to make sure I have it right before I post it. EDIT: I did it anyways lol. I'm sorry it's so blurry, the screenshot was tiny for no apparent reason. :S

This is an awesome idea.I always wanted a remix of the live version intro with the studio version...I'm not so good at remixing though.I would love to hear the finished product

FallenEvArmy, the notes are: D6 C6 Bb5, A5 C6 Bb5, A5 C6 Bb5, A5 G5 Bb5 F6, E6 F6 E6 D6, C6 Bb5 D6, A5 G5 D6, F5 E5 C5. The commas separate the bars, the numbers tell you which octave the notes are in.

It would be so awesome if a program was designed to do that!

AeternusAmatorius I use a program called Anvil Studio. It's freeware, but there are a lot of functions that you have to buy, but even without those it's the best freeware that I've found (and trust me, I've gone through a lot. Lol). It looks like this: There are three different input modes (Staff, Piano Roll and Guitar Tab), but I like the Staff one best because of reasons. It's really easy to use, especially after you've played around with it a bit, and you can have multiple tracks so you can have piano accompanied by a cello and a viola if you so wished. I think you can have up to eight different tracks, but there are accessories you can buy to expand that number to sixteen. There's also an accessory you can buy that allows you to print out sheet music, but it's forty dollars and I don't have the money to spare. But being able to input my songs using the keyboard there makes it really easy to figure out the technical stuff about my songs (such as whether that note should be a quaver or whatever), and then it's much easier to write it down onto stave paper.

FallenEvArmy I don't mean to double post, but I was just wondering if you'd gotten around to trying this out yet or not.

I couldn't do a decent recreation by changing the pitch of sampled vocals because it sounded so fake and unnatural. So I tried adding the live ABH clip instead, and this was the result. I don't think it's that bad, you can't really hear the audience.
