Demise -Located on the album(s): "Origin" as Track #11 - apart of Eternal (the end of it). -BMI Work #6966942 (Officially, Demise IS apart of Eternal, afterall) -Length Time: 1:33 -Acoustic Version Available? [NO] -Live Version Available? [NO] Lyrics: INSTRUMENTAL Song: Some Things To Think About/Debate Over -Notice that the "Demise," that is attached to "Eternal" has the storm connected to it. What that means is that when "Demise" begins, you can still hear the storm - Eternal fades into Demise. However, the original Demise did not have this. Notice the "Demise," at the end of the Away From Me (Pre-Release Alternate Ending), does NOT have the storm to flow into it: There is silence before it, since the song "Listen to the Rain" just ended. This implies that the flow from Away From Me to Eternal (via beeps) and Eternal to Listen to the Rain (via storm) stops adruptly when the CD gets to Demise. This is because there is nothing connecting Listen to the Rain with Demise. -According to the EvReference, this apparently is a twelve note piece that just repeats again and again. This also is the slowed down, lower tempoed, and lower pitched intro of Field Of Innocence (without the Latin lyrics). SOURCE-Demise apparently was a name that Brad Craviness came up with. Originally this did not have a title (EvLore - quote from The Master via EvBoard): Demise was originally a seperate song by itself before Origin was completed.
The original end to the tracklisting was
11.Eternal 12.Listen to the Rain 13.Demise
Listen to the Rain was cut from the final production of the album. So what happened was was that Demise became part of the then 5 minute Eternal. It is the 7 minute song which we are familiar with.
Except Demise is not the name. as a matter of fact it is and always has been an untitled song. It just got the Name Demise by Brad Caviness who helped finance the recording of Origin. When he was ripping the tracks to his computer he gave it the Untitled track name the Name Demise cause it was like the yang to the song Origin's yin...
Yes and No. Its more like Eternal just fades into The Unknamed Track (unofficially known as Demise). Just like Away From Me fades into Eternal.
Seperate song just no hard brake between Eternal and the Unknamed Track. That's interesting, because NOW there is no hard break between Eternal and Demsie (the storm connects them) but BEFORE there WAS a hard break between Listen To The Rain and Demise. THANKS to FallenEvArmy for the videos!
