How about the Unknown song that never released but played live? Also, it's unknown to the fans what is the title of the song. DarkFlare89, can you include this song in this mill? Stephanie Pierce performs the background vocals. Also, this Unknown song was played live at Vino's bar, 1999. This is the lyrics of the Unknown song performed by Evanescence @ Vino's bar, 1999. Backing vocals are in italic.I know a secret Something still belongs to me I'm not afraid of those who kill the body For still they cannot kill the soul You may beat me down Just denying the truth But you can't kill the me in you Dreams are illusions They fade away before we can catch them Promises may be broken dreams we'll forget But what's birthed in you cannot die You may beat me down Just denying the truth But you can't kill the me in you [You may beat me down][Just denying the truth][But you can't kill the me in you] You may beat me down just denying the truth But you can't kill the me in you [You may beat me down just denying the truth][But you can't kill the me in you] You may beat me down just denying the truth But you can't kill the me in you [You may beat me down just denying the truth][But you can't kill the me in you] You may beat me down just denying the truth But you can't kill the me in you [You may beat me down just denying the truth]

[But you can't kill the me in you]It's not a rumor per se. I think this is what this thread is about; strictly songs that are rumors and only rumors. Meaning there is no evidence of it ever existing. This song in in my thread under the official listing.

Double A, this thread is a bit of both. The songs in RED are those that we have some sort of evidence (whether it is audio, video, website, post, or interview) of the song itself existing. The RED songs are new. The songs in BLUE are some sort of different version of a song we already have. And the PURPLE ones are the live covers we don't have. GREEN is Amy's solo stuff. So I encompass both non-rumor and rumor songs; the "Rumor" part of the "Rumor Mill" is pretty much the conversations about the songs themselves, like whether or not the Unknown Song is Me in You (like we both think it is) and the reasoning behind that, for example. theriseandthefall, the Unknown Song is listed under Me in You, because both I and Double A have a large amount of circumstantial evidence pointing to that as the best option we have for a name so far. I also posted about it here in the song's thread: LINK HERE :.D

Oooh! Okay! Sorry. I wasn't exactly sure how you would add songs in it. Plus I was in school and didn't really have time to check as I should have been doing homework. lol. But okay! have you see @jakebryan's comment on Solitude?

have you see @jakebryan's comment on Solitude? Ah yes! I almost forgot! jackbryan, one reason I found it difficult to include Solitude with the other songs is because I am a bit reluctant to assume that they made another version of Solitude, and thus only a live interpretation of Solitude is being reflected in the 1999 Live Set (I believe). An example would be the different live versions of the Fallen songs we have heard over the years - the added drums during the Imaginary bridge; the new intro to Haunted; the String Intro/Guitar Intro/Long-Piano Intro to BMTL; Piano-Guitar version of BNM; Vocal-Intro to Whisper; Longer-Intro to TOM and so on and so on and so on. One doesn't assume all of these songs exist in a studio form; I imagine sometimes they revamp some songs (like Disappear!) when they play them live in order to spice things up or make things a bit different. The question remains whether or not these songs (when we look at the 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 live sets) are actually different, un-heard of versions, or are in fact just live interpretations of the songs we hear. It is likely that Exodus and Lies might have had another demo, due to the fact that they are so radically different from what we hear in their album versions. Thinking about the 1999 Live Set, makes me think twice about WWYG. It is possible that they the drum intro was just something done live, and does not inherently mean another demo is a foot. So that one might be taken out. I suppose I included it due to the comment on YouTube that I quoted. I am even more reluctant with Solitude, due to the fact that it is logical to include it at the end, since they could immediately end the concert with The End, which is what they did (sorta). I tend to think that version of Solitude is a live interpretation and doesn't have a studio-equivalent version rolling around. But I, of course, could be wrong about this. So I'll think about it some more to see if it should join its friends on the list or not

Maybe the bootleggers named it "Me In You" but some people named it "Me 'n You" and another people named it "Me and You". I think this Me In You, I mean, Me 'n You, nope I mean, Me and You, err I mean, the Unknown Song doesn't have any legal title. It's still confusing me. Like Bleed, some people call it "I Must Be Dreaming" and some people recognize BMTL as "Wake Me Up Inside"

Like Bleed, some people call it "I Must Be Dreaming" and some people recognize BMTL as "Wake Me Up Inside" This is true, I will say, since we as the EvCommunity are not sure what the song is exactly 100% called. And we probably never will, as per Amy's comment on EvClub. Despite this, we can make a pretty good guess that it is Me in You, considering the evidence both I and Double A compiled. The assumption that bootleggers may have named the song would be true IF this song actually appeared on any bootleg. Since it has not, and it most likely will not, I don't think such a theory holds water. We, the EvCommunity, named the song Me in You since we believe that was what was meant when the 03/04 discographers listed the (unfinished) song Me & You in their discographies. Nobody has ever called the song Me 'n You; the point Double A and I were trying to make was that "if" (and this is a big "if") Amy and Ben both said to the audience, something along the lines of "the next song we are working on is called Me in You," of course those listening aren't going to be able to hear with 100% clarity what Amy/Ben said. They might have thought she/he said "Me & You" (Me in You >> Me 'n You >> Me & You - note how they sound similar) and posted on EvBoard what they heard/remember hearing (since we are talking about the 1998/1999 eras - this was pre-EvBoard and we are only getting recollections of what they remember as per the topics they posted). The same goes for things like Spanish and Catherine. We only know of Spanish because somebody heard it, got the name, and posted about it on EvBoard. Other than that, we don't know anything else about it. Catherine is a bit different, since we have the MTV article and the ev.it interview to go on. By legal title I'm guessing you mean from the BMI website. I mean, can't we say most of the EP songs don't have official "legal" titles either? Most of the SA EP isn't on there, nor Goodnight/October/Forever You/LTTR/Give Unto Me (and so on and so forth) - so what the "legal" names of demos is a real grey area. It is confusing, I agree with you there. But Me in You, in my view, is the best alternative and is the most likely choice out of all of them. It can't be Catherine because that song was written in 2000 and you can't perform a song written in 2000, in 1999! It can't be Faixa Five because David helped to write that song and David didn't join the band until Winter 1999 and this song was played in May 1999 and you can't perform a song in May 1999 when the person who helped write it wasn't in the band until December! Going by what Amy/Ben had said about the song and all the circumstantial evidence we have, I'd say Me in You, despite the innuendo, is the best option. P.S. People call Bleed, "I Must Be Dreaming," since that is what the bootleggers called it when they ripped it from the internet since it didn't have a title (hence why they called it "Untitled (I Must Be Dreaming)" as per the phrase being repeated over and over again). The bootleggers who made Not For Your Ears in 2003, are responsible for that. But that doesn't mean it was ever called that by anyone in the band. Also, despite EvRumors from EvBoard that the working title for BMTL is "Wake Me Up Inside," we can't validate that either. There is no proof that BMTL was ever called that, and thus people who refer to the song as that (as far as the EvCommunity is concerned) are incorrect. This is similar to the rumors around Imaginary/Monsters or Everybody's Fool/Never Was Never Will Be or Taking Over Me/I Believe In You. Double A wrote a neat list of the different incorrect song titles throughout the Ev History that we have come across. I think I put it in my notes somewhere that list . . .

No I think you're good. I think the only thing that is EvClub is the name of the song Perfect Dream. Which, really... isn't a big deal.

Just that one thing. ;D Only because I don't see that one silly little title as a big deal.
edit: everything else is still off limits! I allow because I just want easier discussion.

DarkFlare already has Hi-Lo, Your Love, "Stompin' Steve" song, and You Got A Lot to Learn on the list. All the information from EvRef for Hi-Lo and You Got A Lot to Learn is in the list. There's more information on the list for Your Love than on EvRef. And really the only information available to the non-EvClub people's about Perfect Dream/Stompin' Steve is on the list as well.

My Immortal (eDeluxe Version)INFO: According to the list of "fake" bootlegs on the Evanescence Reference site, the My Immortal (eDeluxe Version) comes from a rare bootleg, the Fallen (eDeluxe Edition) - 150 copies in the Middle East region only - which has the outro of Tourniquet attached to the Fallen My Immortal, in the same vien as the Imaginary (Long Intro) song. QUOTES: LINK Update: this version doesn't exist. The footnote was supposed to say that the eDeluxe Version of My Immortal is the Mystary version, but due to an error, it showed the footnote for Imaginary.
