Each album had its own theme and depended (mostly) on Amy's mood at the time. But which ones do you think had the best overall lyrics in terms of relatability, creativity, diversity, etc.

This is a hard question.... There's no doubt in my mind that it's not Origin, though. Even if some songs on origin have good lyrics, Away From Me and Where Will You Go are a little too juvenile for my tastes. I think overall it's The Open Door, which was Evanescence lyrics at their most thoughtful and self reflective. They're also as honest and straightforward as EV3's lyrics while still keeping in touch with the fantasy aspect. Lines like "grieving the things I can't repair and willing to let you blame it on me" are great to me because of the position they put the singer in, which is not quite the "victim" like every song on Fallen, but also not the cranky bitch (hehehe) from Evanescence. ;D

No, cause when other people write things i don't have to explain myself, i can just say "i agree" or "i disagree"

I'd have to say TOD overall. Origin and Fallen have some really good ones that i personally love, though, but i prefer TOD as a whole.
EV3 has some good lyrics, too, but after Amy's experience with 3 previous albums, i was expecting something better.
I also like some pre-Origin stuff.
To me, TOD's lyrics are the best because that was the only moment when i felt like Amy really looked inside herself and tried to be as honest as possible about her life and her struggles, even if it required admiting things about herself she didn't like. It was also written from a different perspective than Fallen. Fallen is mostly a sea of sadness, depression and desperation and the whole album revolves around Amy's inability to escape (except going to her "field of paper flowers"). While TOD is more reflective in that sense. Amy partially admits what's wrong with her and her decisions, she takes a more active role to try to solve out her own struggles. That's why i think they're Amy's best lyrics, i feel like she had to dig a bit more to write them.
They're also the lyrics i feel more related to.
Anyway, i think Amy's writing has a bunch of room to evolve and grow and i hope we get to hear the best of her in the future. I don't want to think that she already wrote the best lyrics of her career.

EV3 has some good lyrics, too, but after Amy's experience with 3 previous albums, i was expecting something better. This my exact opinion and the very reason why I prefer TOD overall compared to Ev3. You can feel and hear the growth both lyrically and musically from Fallen to TOD. Not that they didn't grow during Ev3, I just think TOD showed more of the growth and reflection. And less about relationships in general.

The self-titled lyrics are too relationship based for my liking, and I don't find them really unique like in TOD. Fallen would be my second choice.

It's difficult to choose an album cause of course, there's some songs that lyric-wise really stand out and others may be disappointing. I voted for TOD: The lyrics of Cloud Nine or some of my all-time favourites. Overall I love most lyrics of the album, except perhaps CMWYS which is a bit too straightforward ( and because I actually felt sorry for poor Shaun I also voted for Origin, just because I find it really honest, sometimes a little cliche, naive and juvenile but that makes it beautiful in another way. Lyric wise I was a bit disappointed in EV3. Not to mention the overuse of certain words. Some songs are well-written, but in other songs it just felt like Amy lost her inspiration and under the hard pressure of us hungry fans she just used words that seemed 'safe' to use.

Fallen was never my thing. Too whiny. Too teen. The Open Door's lyricality was so on elementary school level. Come on "Don't cry to me if you loved me, you would be here with me..." Any fifth grade student would top that. On the other hand, Evanescence was the best after Fallen and The Open Door, with the usage of the words, how she or they pick the right word on right patterns. I chose Evanescence and Origin. Origin, because, some songs mean so much that will never be replaced.

"Fallen" and "The Open Door" for me. I just love the lyrics on both those albums. Lyrics from "Fallen" reach me in so many ways. And I love the direction she took on "The Open Door."
