Ooohhh my god, I can't even describe the nostalgia. It seriously just transported me to 10 years ago. And if you go to the unfinished site before that one, there's a link to the o-board. Worst board ever lol. I like the idea of us fans putting something together for the band. (Which reminds me, around when Ev3 came out, someone was putting together an art book for the band. What ever happened with that? Did it get completed and given to them? ) But anyway, I think it'd be cool if we put something together for the band about how Fallen impacted us and whatnot. I'm guessing most people would like to do some sort of video, but could there be another option for those of us who can't do video? I'm thinking I'd like to just write up something about how Fallen affected me and maybe share some inspired artwork. Maybe a subforum can be created for everyone to share their stories and videos and art, and we can send the band a link to it so they can check out everyone's stuff. And if we did link them here, it would be awesome if there was a Fallen 10 year anniversary layout, as others suggested. And I'm reeeaally hoping the band does a little something special for the anniversary. I just thought of something...maybe they're planning on finally putting out the LIP video that day? Though I'm hoping for something bigger. |

Okay so i've been meaning to mention this for a while now.
Some of you may know i've been working on a Remix of LIP and that i have different versions of it.
i have been working on the final version of it for months trying to get it just right. I've posted a few versions cause i've been wanting to get your guys opinions and that is basically because what my goal has been is to send it to the band on world evanescence day as a thank you gift.
So i was thinking it would be cool if we could get a video to go along with it... thats where you guys could come in?
i think the video should be something that kind of hi-lights evanescence journey over the years but which also features us the fans?
what do you say? ideas? anyone?

I would make a music video containing my paintings but that would be boring...  |

If people draw pictures, make videos or take photos like we did for Tim's birthday and then we could put it all together with your remix... I like that idea, anyone else? i like that... photos from the tour, videos of people holding signs anything lots of footage of fan/ev related stuff cause its a long remix i've extended the beginning with a bit of an intro. may we could get all the musos on here playing their instruments incorporated into the video and we could make it like a music video as well? |

the beginning like a montage and if we could get all the pianists on here to play the chords of the intro so it could be added in as if they were playing it in the video.
non musicians could make videos of them wondering around a place close to where they live or the place that they would call Paradise or something like that?

Also, are you talking about that book someone from the old evthreads tried to organise? I was part of that. Have no idea what happened with it though. |

We asked argentinian fans to send their favorite song and lyrics and what they meant to them (short enough to fit the small sheets of the book). It was fun to do, we got a lot of entries (86!) and reading those explanations (not out of curiosity but because I had to check spelling and even translate some of them lol) made me realize how Ev's music has saved and improved a lot of lives, and it made me love the band even more <3 If I'm not wrong, Mandy (I don't know her username here!) made a photo and artwork book and gave it to Amy in the London concert. Ours only had text but we could make a mix of both this time  |

Ours only had text but we could make a mix of both this time Yeah i had entries in the photo book mandy did, that was on ev club wasn't it or was it here also? the only problems with books is, there are no shows that gives some one a chance to give it to them so what ever we make has to be given to them over twitter digitally. some of us are organising a video project but if you guys want to also do a digital book too perhaps we could combine and make it like each part of the video is a book and some parts can have video and other parts can have text and photos and the transitions can be page turns or something? |

I'll just join anything you guys decide to do because I have no energy nor time to do anything on my own lol Making the blue book was a rewarding experience but seriously it took so much time and nerves I wouldn't do it again so soon LMAO!

Well thats encouraging... lol well the remix is basically done i might fix the levels a bit but thats out of the way its just the video making part. Which either ill or some one else will do. But we really need submissions ASAP |
