Well, maybe some people don't like how she looks with it. I know that many fans freak out a bit whenever she changes her classic long, black, straight hair. (Remember when she cut her hair short? The fansbase's reaction was intense).

Personally , i think she looks beautiful and younger like you guys said, although i don't know if it's the curly hair, the color or the fact that she's not wearing heavy make up, that makes her look younger. Could be a combination of all that.
Anyway, after AGES of the same straight, black hair, i'd take ANYTHING else, even a Lady Gaga type of hairdo, lol

THIS. And it's not so much the color as it is the styling. That straight hairstyle was starting to do more bad than good for her. I liked when her hair had at least some movement going on. And with that in mind, I'm more pleased by the curls than by the color.

When Amy cut her hair in 2009, some fans were like how is she going to headbang? Now that she just dyed it, what's their invalid argument? They should mind their own business. I mean, it's just hair and it's hers. She can do whatever she wants with it.

I love it! It makes her so cuuute. The things I'd do to have her hair.. or Beth as a hairdresser.
I also love the curls, it's something else for a change. Still love her black straight hair though, makes her ubersexy when she's headbanging (like a boss).

I think the new hair color and style is very pretty on her. She looks very happy in the picture she tweeted. I prefer her classic long black hair but, I agree with everyone saying it's her hair and she looks AMAZING whatever the cut, style, or length is.

I agree! It looks to be lifted a couple of shades to a warm bronze/auburn. Could just be a temp color, but I'm guessing it was lightened either by color removal or bleach, then recolored. I know she has to get tired of the same old thing, I know I do. She maintains that certain look for so long.
I think it looks great--rich and warm.

Sometimes people need to try something different. I've always loved Amy's black hair, but if she wants to change her hair color, why not? I think her new hairstyle looks even more beautiful.
