Just for the record before rumours get out of hand this is not the end of Evanescence, someone asked Amy and she confirmed in the M&G that they are wanting to make another record, they just don't know when. People ought to have more faith in Evanescence. lol I agree!! After following them around just for a week I discovered just how difficult and exhausting touring really is. They really do deserve a break. It's easy for us to say they should have toured longer or that they should write a new album right away, but until you experience it, it's hard to understand and I only got a little tiny taste of what they have been going through for almost a year and a half.

So everyone on Tumblr is pretty convinced that this is the end of Evanescence. Have I missed something? Or is this just people over-reacting or taking things out of context again? It may have to do with the troll message Will left on his FB. I'm sure he thought to himself "Let the meltdowns begin!" XD

I can only imagine. Poor Amy and the guys, they must be so exhausted. It'll probably be at least a couple years before they even think about returning to the studio.

XD lol yea, but I think hes talking about the whole tour crew and possibly himself when he says "theres no way of telling when or if you'll ever see those people again" We know hes part of Dark New Day and I think him and Troy are going to be focusing on that now so maybe hes unsure what the future holds. It doesn't mean the end of Ev though. and then he does finish off with "Until we meet again" I do know for sure though that Amy hasn't finished with Ev yet, whether any of the others guys have or not I'm not sure.

Fo' rizzle. I had this idea in my head that I was gonna write an albums worth of songs like... Two years ago... I'm still not done, haha. I expect at least a four year break.

That's good to know! I'm certain that we will hear of Amy again whether it's a solo album or something completely different to Ev or Evanescence, I was just afraid it wouldn't be Evanescence. But it's true that we need to calm down and have some faith in Evanescence! And PATIENCE. As hard as it is. And enjoy all the Evanescence music we have and live shows and memories. Okay. I'm not freaking out anymore.

I think there will be another album in 3-4 years as Amy Lee has decades to do solo stuff, she's only about 31, i expect at least 1 more album.
Here is some footage I caught of the Birmingham show.

she did say she just wanted a 2-year nap. a NAP, not a hibernation, or to drop off the face of the world. Naps end

Just thought to ask - how did the London show compare with the other three? I'm glad you said the Birmingham show was the best to date - it was the only one I could have got to!! Did you get a chance to do any sightseeing whilst you were over here?

Yeah I don't think of this as then end of EV and I hate how everyone is just assuming it is...i'm sure if it was the end Amy would tell us. Plus Amy has been very solid on saying that this is their best album, lineup, and she has considered it like the new beginning for EV so why end on that note?! I'm just sad that we are going to have to wait a while for a new album...but I can wait. <3 I just hope in the meantime we will get to hear unreleased tracks, and possibly have some tour dates. lol.

So glad that all of you had the time of your lifes! It must have been an epic show that unfortunately for me, I was only there in spirit! Feel so honored that Amy mentioned Greece at the show. Thas was unexpected and awesome I'm a bit disappointed though because they didn't come out to sign. Tim told me they would. I bet it was a security thing.

Hi Guys, Been lurking on here over the past few weeks on the lead up to the Birmingham concert. Finally got round to editing and uploading my video of it. Needless to say, Amy and the whole band were epic in every way, I think it was the best concert I will ever have the privilege of watching (unless they tour here again - I hope they do!). Anyway, here's my video on YouTube, 48mins long so caught most of the show, but unfortunately had to leave early because of the stupid train times Rock on! \m/
