Hello all, Took me forever to find Evanescence's message board! I am fan but not so diehard. I was dating a guy who worked for their record label, we broke up in May, and he left behind a ton of promo cds from bands like Seether, OAR, Young Guns, etc. I'm trying to organize my apartment and I don't want to throw anything that may be of value to fan in the garbage. The CD from Evanescence seems to be a demo disc called "The Lillywhite Sessions". I googled it and didn't find much about it. It has three tracks that don't sound like they've been mastered. It was in a black slipcase and it's a green CD with their logo. Do you guys know anything about it? Thanks a bunch!

A picture won't prove anything. Anyone can find a blank disc and write The Lillywhite Sessions on it. Audio would help, but IF this is real, then we're in murky waters, because the music hasn't been officially released, so is it still considered illegal?
Is it even possible to have a promo of The Lillywhite Sessions, I would have thought we'd have heard about this sooner. Either way, without proof you're not going to be able to convince many people here, I'm afraid.

If a diehard fan found the demo CD you're talking about, he will most likely leak it onto the internet so everyone can listen to the unreleased demos, just like people did with the official Ev instrumentals.

This doesn't make sense at all. No band would name a CD after the producer. And I agree with the other members on this - if the promo actually existed, somebody would have leaked it by now.

Hello again, I don't think it's a promo CD. It seems to be a recording of demos to be sent out to label executives. I have a few of them from other artists but they all seem to do it differently. I believe the recording studio actually produces the CDs. I don't plan on "leaking" any of the songs. If you're in the NY metro area and you're interested in picking it up, my e-mail is mchen847@hotmail.com. Name's Michelle. Attachments:

Omg, it has Hi Lo on it. I don't live in US though, sigh. It would be nice if the songs could be uploaded onto Evref though.
