My first Evanescence show, after seven years of fandom. :') They're all such awesome performers, and I loved the set! Amy's even prettier in person!

I think i saw scotty, and KTRN (though she isn't here yet, I think). I had a blast at the concert. I was third row slightly left. Whisper was awesome live, that was my first time hearing it. Will was a badass throwing his drumsticks in the air. Never Go Back sounded really off to me, and that is my only complaint. Almost cried during BMTL. Again.

My dad said he caught Amy giving me a bunch of shout-outs because a lot of people in the front were not singing along or rocking out and I was going crazy. But my dad was drinking so I can't be a 100% sure, Though I am almost certain she gave me at least one. I had eye contact with Tim a couple times too. Tim keeps the same hilarious face the whole time he performs. Anyone stay after to see if they came out? I heard DTE makes it really hard to do that.

Lowlight of the concert: My dad cuts someone off in the parking lot, they get out of the car, start banging on my car, come up to MY WINDOW, and ask my dad for a fight. This was my face.



Then when we were on the freeway they drive up next to us with middle fingers up and then throw shit at our car. We got a nice dent now. Drinking is bad. Makes you stupid.

I think I will make a thread where you can post pics because I go t quite a few good ones.

The show was amazing! I had 2nd row seats on the left side.. And Im pretty sure Amy smiled/waved at me a few times.. The only annoying part was that pretty much no one in my section was singing along/rocking out.. How can you NOT rock out at an Ev show??!?

^I know right? Lol I did some major rocking out through the entire setlist... And I totally started headbanging like crazy during Whisper. That song is incredible live! I cried during Lost in Paradise and My Immortal. :')

Oh I forsure rocked out haha. I was row EEE which made it about 4th row i think lol in the center. So much fun!!

It sounds like a great show! I thought amy's voice was gonna be destroid at this point but the vids I saw tell me the opposite. Happy for you that had a blast! I can't wait to see them live!

I was first row, BBB, I was pissed that people didnt seem to be rocking out around me and the dad or something of the kid sitting next to me was talking crap about Ev not being a "real rock band" and all this other crap. I almost jumped him but I didnt want to get kicked out of the show. Besides that I had an awesome time. Because I was one of the few rocking I got looks from the band, I think I even got a smile from Tim but im not sure. Really the whole crowd was bad for every band from what I saw. But I got a setlist, and a pick from Tim. I thought Amys voice was gonna be a little rough too but it was flawless. It was even better than when I saw them in royal oak. Disappear live! Oh my god! Cant even describe how happy I am that I got to see it. I looked for the buses after the show but I didnt see them. DTE is so huge its hard to cover all the ground. Not gonna lie, all the shows Ive seen at DTE the crowd has been pathetic so it didnt really suprise me. But atleast we rocked out! Has anyone found a recording of Disappear? Theres a ton of My Immortal .

^I would have asked Mr. Evanescence Isn't a "Real Rock Band" what exactly a "real rock band" is and how Evanescence does not qualify. What are they supposed to be then, hip hop? Lol! XD

That person was a total jerK! if you don't like the band you just STFU and wait til you arrive home and then start complaining. Doing that in a show is completely disrespectful to the fans and the band. Poor kid, he must not have had a good time...

Scotty- I think I saw you too! lol! It was amazing, and I ended up right on the barricade in front of Amy's keyboard. She sounded amazing!! My friends had never seen them before and thought they were awesome!!! Did you stay after to get stuff signed? My friends didn't want to wait.
